Toddller who will be one day potty-training solution??

by jibarguenComment Published at 19:2519:256 comments6 comments181 Visits181 VisitsReport

Anyone out there found a good solution for toddler heavy wetters? I'm considering buying some training pants since I'm hopeful that he will be potty-training soon. Any advice on Toddler training pants or regular diapers or potty training will be helpful. He is only 21 months now, but his little brother is due right around his 2nd birthday!!!

ps where do I get one of those cute ticker so show the age of the baby and pregnancy??

Try that again........
Having a mummy moment...LOL..... If you have a heavy wetter a terry towel trainer is not gonna work very well without tweaking........... Make your own....~ get some hemp and some microfibre cloths(from the cleaning aisle at big w) and these will hold alot of wee..... alternatively try marnies one wet pants......they have lots of padding but are cloth so they know they are wet.... they are cute, can be appliqued.... and they have  snap sides for if your bubba has an accident,,,,,,,

I made my own trainers and my daughter is 28 mths ... we use ours over night too......she went into trainers at 18 mths and now i use them for shop trips only......

Not a prob.....

i have lots of info so what i will do is go thru it and then write it up for you.......

My bub loves her home made undies...and i know ours are great for shopping trips......Its cool when you are making it for you baby as it means more in my opinion and they look better then pull ups under dresses......

remeber that what u use all depends on where you live too..... we get 42 degrees here in summer and down to 1 c in winter so i can use different things for each season.....

will send info soon

Toddler training
If you think he is ready to go potty, then invest in some terry towelling pants and then he will be able to know when he is wet - this may be enough incentive for him to go. If he isn't ready though you might just have to be patient. My big boy has just been dry for a few months and he is 3 and a half. We bought him some Bummis training pants - they can be boosted esp for night.
All the best.
