Hey everyone.....lm new to this group and glad l found it too. lm 31 years old and 7weeks 2days pregnant with no.5.....my first check up is tomorrow and l am abit nerves - yeah l know l shouldnt be , but its been awhile since l was pregnant and prepare for all the poking and prodding the docs do to you. My ther childern are all boys aged 14, 12, 9 and 4 years old. This is the first pregnancy l have had a washing machine stomach (as l call it) continues to go around and around all day until l finally get sick....in  one way its a good sign as l never had it with the other 4 pregnancys and yes l always wanted to have the sickness and the ab cramps that l get every now and then....l call them moving the furniture around....l will keep you all posted on my progress, take care all and best wishes.

31 weeks

G'day all. Just wanted to say Hi and say that i am 31 weeks pregnant..32 in a couple of days..with our 2nd baby..a little boy this time! Our daughter was born 19th April 2003. This is my 3rd pregnancy..the 1st ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks gestation(no heartbeat) So now i just cant wait to see and hold this little guy..kiss his sweet little face and feel those tiny fingers wrapped around mine! For the second time i also have gestational diabetes..but all under control with diet and insulin injections. Things seem to be going well, and at least hes not a huge baby..which sometimes GD babies can be..if anything, they said at the last ultrasound that he was a little underweight for his gestational age..whatever that means?? Im having a follow up scan in a week to make sure everything is still on track. Im sure he is fine though..he wont stop kicking me and moving around! Always a good sign!*L* Only thing 'wrong' with being a larger lady in pregnancy is that it is hard to tell that i am pregnant, with no real baby bump to be able to show off..but thats ok,no one really wants to see my fat tummy anyhow! Same with daughter, never had a baby bump with her either..but she was born a very healthy 6lbs10ozs/3020g @ 37w2d gestation through an emergency c-section. I wonder how this birth will play out?? Have been fairly lucky with both pregnancies..no morning(all day!)sickness, but i have suffered with a sore achey back and top of legs. Not so bad now,but a couple of weeks ago i could barely walk! He must have been sitting on a nerve or something!*L* Thats about all for now. Hubby and i and our daughter live in Sydneys western suburbs,Cambridge Gardens, near Penrith. Clare(33) Chris(33) Caitlyn(4) #2 bub,a boy,EDD 8/8/07 :0)
