Good idea! Shame I'll have to rush these as it's midnight and I need sleep urgently !

Ideal Vacation? Canada - with the family! Perhaps when they're bigger I'll be both rich enough and brave enough! Always wanted to go there and see my cousins and the BIG country. And now add Marg to the list LOL!

Memorable Childhood Activity? Meals at Grandma & Grandpa's house - ALWAYS ham salad with buttered bread cut into triangles (seemed so exotic!), followed by bread and homemade jam, followed by homemade cakes, and maybe a pudding, often Trifle!

Friend's Qualities? Honesty, humour, trustworthiness, a listening ear.

Inherited Characteristics to keep and change? Hmmm, tough one! I'm very grateful they passed their faith onto me, if that counts as a keep. Change - my temper - done my best to change that already!

Good thing now? My family! I view this as the time of my life, the top of the mountain, the peak of my usefulness and influence. But if MIL is correct, I may get a second bite of the cherry one day if I become a grandma, so maybe it isn't all downhill from here!

What would I like to do in the next 5 years? I'd settle for paying the bills and maintaining the house and garden, so I could devote all my time and energies to my DH & kids.

Fabulous Angie, I love these kind of blogs!!!!!
  • What would be your ideal vacation?  Apart from the holiday in Iceland I've just had......I think I would be greedy and say see the world, so many places I have always wanted to go. I would love to go to New York, Australia again, haven't been there in 10 years, Rome just because its beautiful, the Caribbean, just in case Johnny Depp was filming Pirates sequel.....see what I mean.........greedy
  • What is the most memorable activity you did with your family as a child? I think it has to be the time a freak snow storm came, the snow was blizzarded into 20 feet drifts in places, everyone was trapped in their homes, we then heard of several cars trapped in the snow and occupants were being air lifted to the big school where they needed volunteers to cook hot meals so we all went to help
  • What quality do you appreciate most in a friend? Absolute Loyalty and being able to Trust them. So many of my old friends let me down when I needed them most, so now I prefer quality instead of quantity of friends
  • What is one characteristic you received from you parents that you want to keep, and one you wish you could change? Oh so many...I would like to think I retained their genuineness, kindheartedness and thoughtfulness
  • What is a good thing happening in your life right now? What makes it good? My new found strength and confidence, the fact that I am loving life for the first time in many years, some really great people currently in my life.
  • If you knew you couldn't' fail and money was no object, what would you like to do in the next five years? You know.......I used to have money and was a very unhappy person, now I would just love to be independent and able to pay my bills perhaps be able to do treats every now and then. But from my experience money in the wrong hands is a source of power, control and misery
