Been to Bali
The only place I have ever been is Bali (a long time ago).  Our family dream/goal at the moment is to go to Hawaii.  The company we have our business through offers a free trip there next year and we have qualified 2 months for this trip - only 7 more months to go!!

thank you - i guess i am.
Australian's in general tend to travel quite a bit (maybe because we are so far away from everyone!), but i guess i have traveled more than most.
A lot of my traveling early on was for International Sailing events in 420 class dinghies.
And since then it has been for Business and pleasure with Rachel.

Germany is just great (West side that is).
So much greenery and and the Castles their are just amazing!
I went their for an international sailing event when I was just 16.
One little town we stayed in was so cool... it was still like it was in the 1800's i guess.
The Germany I saw had a lot of culture and everyone was friendly.

Vacation
My two favourite places to go on Holiday would be Iceland, we go there as often as we can as my brother, sister in law, nephew and niece live there. It is an incredibly beautiful country and the people are so friendly. The natural geysers, glaciers and wterfalls are simply breathtaking.
I also Love Australia, my best friend of over 25 years lives there, she now lives in Perth but when I went to visit, we flew to Perth, then drove 8 hours inland to a place called West Kambalda near Kalgoorlie. It was awesome, we saw some of the best parts of Australia as that was pretty much bush country but also went to Esperance for a long weekend with them Amazing. I want to go back asap
I would also love one day to go to New York.......

your right - it's certainly not short - but it is a lot of fun... long stretches of road to just chat, petrol stations to have truckie's breakfast etc. Dodgy motels to stay in... lots of fun

Vacation
I would go just about anywhere on Vacation because I would love to be able to travel anywhere but I would have to say that I really would like to go to Portugal.  I would love to  go visit some of my family memebers who I have never met and I want to see where my mom and dad and family grew up.  My mother and I were supost to go there when I was 13 I think it was but then my grandfather got really ill and passed away so we didn't end up going .  I hope one day I can afford to to take my children there.
