My neighbour's four year old daughter used to think my name was Grizzly, so it got shortened to GRiz. I havnt been called that for years, so I didnt want to use my real name so I just remembered the old NIck Name

Mine is not really that interesting it is just my last name & because I'm married I just put Mrs. in front of it so there you have is mrsconnell BORRING LOL.

So the eskimo story?  Years ago - my first ever boyfriend gave it to me.  I've got a pretty unusual name, so the first time I called his house to speak to him his Dad couldn't understand my name and gave my boyfriend this really cryptic message and we nearly missed a show we were trying to organise.  My BF (at the time) told me that next time I called and left a message I should say that an eskimo was calling.  I did and the message got through.  So I like to use that one too.

Ages ago when joining another website I couldn't use my usual nickname, eskimo (there's a story behind that one.  I'll tell it in a minute), and was trying all sorts of things.  I liked the idea of being "honeybee" but someone else already had it.  Then I remembered the little lightbee concept from Red Dwarf (a british comedy show for those who haven't seen it) where this hologram could only function by virtue of having this little "lightbee" which was the only solid part of him.  Thought it was cute and I've used it ever since.

well, the last bit is kinda obvious... my name is Beka.

I got given the nickname astrobeka about 7 years ago by a friend after a big night out and it just stuck. I guess it really suited my personality cos since then I have lost my other nickname.

sorry mine is too obvious to explain... (it's my name...) but it's a pretend boring disguise to hide how excessively weird i actually am... see most people would have a different name to their real name so it makes it unique and really easy for hackers to trace (i secretly wanna catch one trying to get into my stuff and smush em... see weird) my other net name is kathryn solaris she is a character i adopted from the book kiall is writing... spose if i'd have thought about it i would have used that... :)'s4u
