How many children are you planning on having in your families??

by Peita79Comment Published at 18:3718:3720 comments20 comments194 Visits194 VisitsReport

When i was growing up i always wanted 12 but after having my first i was content to just have two. Number two cam along and i thought that was great, i was happy. (marrage disolved) I then meet Mr. Right and he already had 3 children so 2 becam 5. We have been together 3 years and are about to marry. We have decided we would like another child and have started trying. I'm getting closer to the original 12 i wanted as a teen

I guess when i think about it another 2 would be nice that would give us 7.

Re: How many children are you planning on having in your families??

Well, I was figuring on none. An ectopic pregnancy at 19 left me a bit mangled. So no kids. Who needs kids any way, feeding, nappies, sleep deprivation. Then I got pregers on my honey moon. Yipeeeeeee. Seven Pregnancies, and two wonderful girls. That is Two more than we could ever have dreamed of. So thats it for me. I would not have said no, to seven, but it was not meant to be. Two for me, was a blessing.

Luv Winnie.xxx

That's lovely - I love hearing when people who thought they couldn't have kids manage to have them. Sad that you lost so many but I guess it was worth it for you to keep trying. A friend of my mums got pregnant after 20 years of marriage and trying (must have been her ovaries last attempt at kids). Her husband was a bit worried about who the father was so she got a dna test for his benefit. Better than him living in doubt, after 20 years you would be suspicious!

Well.... when I was a teen , I wanted NONE lol. I  am one of 8 children 4 natural , 4 adopted and we fostered kids my whole life. I figured I'd had enough of kids. Then I met hubby and he has 3 kids from a previous marriage ages 13, 12 , and 9. We have 1 son together and he is 6, AND I am possibly pregnant now, all test are negative so far but I FEEL pregnant. Anyway I want 1 more, hubby wants 3 more ..... I told him to find a new wife lol. I have my mothers weakness for babies , lord help me!

I want 6 kids. I have almost convinced my husband. I'm 24 and we already have 2 boys, if we have another boy next I will try for a girl as our 4th. I told my husband if its not with him then I'll find someone else haha! If we get a boy as our 4th we will wait 10 years then try again. So we will have 2 batches of kids. I can't bear to think of my next pregnancy being my last when I am still so young, it would break my heart!

We always said we only want one, a son, even before I got pregnant... I had a terrible pregnancy and horrific labour, and hardly coped with the new bub...

I am thinking about getting Steve nuetered so it doesn't happen again... Don't get me wrong, I love my son to bits, but I could not do it again...

From my first marriage, I have three children, and I thought after Elise, that would be it, there was Frankie, the mature eldest, Karl, daddys clone and Elise, daddys pretty little angel. and things were pretty darn good :) Then I got divorced and moved out, and met my new wife :) she had two kids, Michelle and Alexander, we got married and had three more, Harriet, Olivia and Alice. :) and I wouldn't mind another one either!

When I was in my teens I always said I would have 4 kids.  When I met my partner he wanted none.  We now have 1.  I would love to have another one, but we'll see.......   I have always said that you should have even number of kids.  i'm one of 3...

Re: How many children are you planning on having in your families??
OMG 12 children!  Where are they all going to come out of?  I have had 2 although, I am one of 5 so since my second have wanted 4 but after the first 2 being around the 10 pound mark, I cant decide how the next 2 are going to come out of me because - I would prefer not to have a caesar, and am really not keen on having any more naturally - it really hurt a lot!  I know it's only a day out of my life to give birth and I have the rest of my life with my babies but at the moment, deciding on whether to have more or not - it's kind of at the front of my mind ......hmmmmm  where's technology of birthing headed next?

Wow, and they say we are a declining population!!  I only wanted one or maybe none as a teenager.  Was not in to kids and i was 34 when i had my first.  That was a hard decision to make and took another 4 years to have number 2, the birth wasn't great so i got scared off!!  Number three was a little surprise and no more now as hubby's been to the vet recently.  Three is definately hard work, don't know how you guys with three plus do it!!

Re: How many children are you planning on having in your families??
I would love four or five but I really like even numbers so it will be 4 or 6! Hubby wants to hold off on number two at the moment though so I guess I will just have to be content with 1

How on earth do you fit 9 children in a car?  and how long does it take for them to all sit down and get their seat belts on?
