i know it has only been about a week but has anything major already happend to you?

I have so far had a flat battery in my car... that was fun... thank god for the RAA.. its not really major but a bad start to the year lol...

so far this year has been total CRAP my nan has spent the last 3 weeks in hospital and i have had to face my attacker and mother so yeah rubbish bring on next year lol

for the first time in about 5 years i feel really good. i feel i can take on the world, and i have stopped taking half of my meds. (antideps)
My hubby and i have made a deal for us both to either go to school or work this year and my baby is going to kindy. so far 2008 has been a great year for us here.

Well my big 2008 new is that I have finally ovulated, I had my first round of clomid after being diagnosed with PCOS and on Friday 4th January did the OPT and got a relyy stron positive, so hopefully doing the deed that day and just before that day had done the job.....find out tomorrow

I had a good Greek meze the other day, does that count? It was 3 courses - entree/antipasto (salad, cheese, tomatoes, bread and dips, etc), seafood (3 dishes), and meat (3 dishes). The only bad things were that the squid/octopus and the souvlaki were a little over cooked or burned. I thought it was really worth it for $35 per person, with the amount of food they provided.

Other than that... I went to see the Hopman Cup and I had great seats. I also went to a Martina Navratilova charity breakfast which was $40. My friend forgot to take her camera out of the car, so we went back to get it after we finished our meal. When we got back to the ballroom, Martina was doing an unscheduled Q&A, so we stood at the back of the room as to not interrupt. When she finished her Q&A she had to quickly leave to go to the Commentator's Box, and on her way she walked past my friend and I and smiled at us!

oh angie i dont want to make you jealous but hubby and i usually catch our own calamari(sqid). we havent bought calamari from the fish shop since we were first married and that is 29 years ago!!!

there is no comparison with the bought calamari. unfortunately due to hubby working in country victoria we havent been able to fish that much lately.

i totally rely on hubby to put my fishing pole together for me so i cant even do it alone. nor would i want to. first it is something we share together and secondly for safety reasons . we had so many meze or pickalia when we were in greece and the greek islands. if i close my eyes i am there living the moment!! cheers annie

We didn't get a photo with Martina unfortunately as she was already running late.

We just managed to snap a few photos while she was speaking on the stage.

We got some photos with a few of the other players though - the Arnaud Clement (FRA - who btw is pretty cute in real life), Gisela Dulko (ARG), and Lucy Safarova (CZE).

Well we came home (Sydney) on Monday from our much awaited trip back home (Coffs) for Christmas to find we had been broken into.......what a way to start the year!!!!
