Other than being a mum, if I had the opportunity, I would love to be a criminologist and forensic psychologist. Yes, they are different, one looks at the social aspects and criminal minds and the other looks at the evidence and uses that for probabilties. Combine the 2 and you have an unbeatable criminal profiler.
That job combined with writing my own books and stuff would be great, and seeing as much of the time, I'd be reading reports etc and could do much of the work from home, I'll have a hobby farm.
Combine it all together and I sooo need to win lotto! lol. Yeah, knowing that I am helping to keep my kids safe at the same time as teaching them about sustainable agriculture practices sounds really good.
Right....I little weird I must admit but if it is a dream job that you aspire to do I can understand. Just not quite my cup of tea but isn't that why we are all so different in the first place.
I have two if that's allowed..... I would love to go and work in third world countries..... My aim is to get Bangladesh. It's been a life long dream of mine since I was about 9. It's something I knew I was put on this planet to do. The pay is usually zilch but to me the rewards are endless. Number 2 for me would be an author. I love writing and after my time helping the poverty stricken I would love nothing more than to spend some time in Tuscany (my dream holiday) and WRITE!!! Now all I need to do is win lotto to fund all of this hehe
i have a few, i would love to run a fishing charter business, love fisshing, though that might be a riterment thing, i would also love to be a photographer for the polic, interesting job, and what i really want is to become a midwife. LOVE babies, and i have to find something to do in baby catagory cause otherwise ill TRY to have a dozen of them lol
cop or a midwife.... really want to and give me say 6 years and i will become one of them. by then all kids will be at school well and truly and i will be one of the above
My father was G3... Meaning with out last name as Gore, I would have been the forth Police officer in our family.. Tried twice but failed each sitting by one point (Which by the way is soooo dam annoying the first time imagine twice).
Anyway after taking two tests you have to wait a year before you go for the third... I decided to take a trip and take the test again when I got back.. And I never did...
But I have heard it has changed a lot since I first wanted to join. And that police officers of today have a different attitude to the job... I read somewhere that one police officer actually said he does not get paid to get shot at... I hate to say it but isn't that a danger of the job. If you are afraid of that risk why join?
Don't let your previous failings stop you from doing what you feel passionate about. You sound like just the sort of person that should be in law enforcement.
I wanted to be a graphic designer when I left school but the only art college was 70 miles away and I didn't want to leave home to go to a strange city at sixteen. Never mind.
There are plenty of people out there that are financially challenged enough to let you practice on them for free. I would put my hand up anytime for a free haircut or the like.
Get a bit of practice and do it from home or do an adult trainieship.
i have a hundred ideas as to what i would like to do, probaby why nothing ever actually happens LOL! one is to run a family giftwares shop out in the country someplace, everyone in my family has at least two or three crafts that they do and with kialls retail experience and my marketing skills i reckon we could sell our wares. would be lotsa fun mesa thinks.
From the age of 12 i wanted to be a criminal psychologist. However, now that i am a Mum, i doubt that i would like to know about most of the nasties out there in the world. I like my happy bubble at the moment.
So now i guess the one thing i would love to do is probably some form of councelling. Maybe troubled teens, or drugs and alcohol.
