Did anyone miss the chance to sound stupid and say on an island inhabited by only Minti Maniacs.

Southport on the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia!  fell in love with the place when Les and I moved from Canberra, and we are both looking forward to the day we can buy our own house there.

A brief walk to the Seaway, great shopping centre, and not too far from the hospital either.  It was just perfect for me!  Oh, and of course, we were living there while they built the new library, watched the construction pretty much from our balcony.

Yeah, Southport is where we would like to settle, permenantly!  Had enough of the buses here in Gympie that only run 3 times a day! lol.

Maybe the right answer depends if you have children still living at home or not. If so then they need stability and consistency that a happy home can offer. If not then I wonder if becoming some sort of a nomad could offer an interesting ever changing life. And no I am not a hippie. HaHa  LOL

In Brisbane Australia, where I am now. I love it. City atmosphere but without the major hustle and bustle. If not there, then I would set up a tent in Janice's backyard!! LOL

Hmm, right where I am now (always wanted to move to Los Angeles); Guatemala; Barvaria, Germany; Australia, and Wisconsin.

I'd love to live where i am now for many years to come.

Why would I care, so long as I am with the people that love me.

Having said that the dream location for me would have to have quite a few things,

Scrapbook supplies for the wife (and me sometimes...shhhhh), a 1000 yard rifle range for me and ????????????????????????????????????????????????????? thats about it really so long as there was plenty of flat ground for my wife to get around on her gopher and/or wheelchair.

Right where I am now, we don't have fantastic views and too be honest I would like my own garden but the commiunity I live in is fantastic. I have made so many new friends and found  so much support that I couldn;t live anywhere else.

practically, the quensland saphire fields is probably where we will end up but dream place to live a japanese island fishing village in a little home with a dojo out the back and a little boat tomake a living, would love the whole hard work good food simple life thing mesa thinks ::)

I know most people dream of living somewhere else, but not me. So i'd have to say right where we are, in our little peice of paradise, i know i am biased but our home just ooze's with  tranquility and peace.
