Ok, I went to high school with Lauren Jackson, the Australian Women's Basketball hot shot, now playing for a US team I believe.

Had a job offer from the Australian Equestrian team during the 2000 olympics, so got to meet most of the team and the NZ equestrian team too!!!!!  Mark Todd really is a nice person! lol.

My step dad is 'famous' in soil science circles, both in Australia and around the world.

Les was almost an AFL player, until he stuffed his knees (just as wel, or we would never have met! lol)

As you know me and my kids have being in the spotlight many times..

Now who do i know is famous...

Ricky Pointing(australia cricket captain)

Marcus Ambrose(was a V8 supercar driver for australia, now a nascar driver)..

Met and drank with some V8 drivers......

Met a few singers /bands.. met Manpower guys hehe....

Met the late Princess Diana..

Know some local Pollies(do they get classed as famous as some of them have their pic in the paper a lot..)

Have got a mate that is in a cover band that does gigs in Pubs..

thats about it i think...

Ummmm, well I don't really "know" anyone famous but I have met a few. I went to school with Jason Gillespie (australian crickter), Nathan Eagleton (plays aussie rules football I think for west coast now), used to play hockey against Sarah Mcleod (former lead singer of the band the superjesus), there was a guy that worked at the backpackers I stayed at when I first moved to brissy. He was best mates with Bernard Fanning from Powderfinger so we used to go the pub with them when they were in town, have met the West Indies cricket team and the Australian circket team, A guy that was in my class was Jimmy Barnes drummer. I think him and his older brother have their own band now. Bob Ansett lives in the same area as me and Dad has become good mates with him and Sir Richard Branson owns Makepeace Island which is a short ferry ride over the river from my place. Don't know if that one counts as I haven't met him but I have met the island lol!!!

Like Angie I have been in the local paper a few times back home, once for our formal and once at a rodeo where we were for a hens night.
My brother knows a few, he knows Dave Grohl from the Foo Fighters, and was on Rove once and met Avril Lavigne (he worked at a wildlife park in Sydney and when Avril was on Rove she wanted to meet a koala and Todd was the one who brought it on for her)

Well I dont no anyone famous but when i was a Kid my dad worked for the same guy that built Greg Norman's boat. (Not at the time he built greg normans boat tho) I cannot remember his name but he was pretty famous in the boating industry.

I can't say that I know someone famous..
My husband on the other hand.. A kid he went to school with in Elementary & Junior High is now a singer for a rock band... So that's kinda awesome actually!

But nope.. Don't think I do..

I can't say I   know him but I have met Cliff Richard  and once at the Royal Cornwall show Prince Charles spoke to me

I know 2 footballers if that counts??.. Other then that noone famous here heheh

WEll, I wouldn't say famous, but I've had a few friends and family (including my Dad) who have published books - mostly very specialised academic stuff, but a friend is just getting her first children's book published here. 

My kids have been in the local paper a few times - hey it's a small town....

Otehrwise, sorry, no-one famous here....
