no idea

I have been trying to be polite aand sometimes let the reams of 'advice' wash over me - but I will draw the line at friends telling me what they would do, what I should do and what is right when they have no children at all. Please - how the hell would they know and how can they be sure of what they would do unless in that situation? It is always so much easier from the outside, more objective. However, when you are so involved sometimes it is difficult to see and you feel so much because it is your child.

I have a number of friends who have told me how they are going to do things and I really just want to say - you wait till you have children then see how easy it all is.

I have had someone say that all you do is stay at home and look after a babay - daytime TV must be great! I'm lucky if I manage to clean my teeth before lunch time, bloody daytime tv indeed!

Before people say anything they should walk a mile in the other persons shoes. GGGrrrrrrr!

Friends they know it all....
People can't help themselves... LOL they all love to put their two cents in..
But don't worry because when it happens to them they will finally understand...  And you can sit back and say I told you so... :)

I am sure deep down inside they don't mean to hurt your feelings...  But I do agree yes it is totally annoying.  I just say wait until it is your turn.. Then you might change your story...

life of luxury...

that's what my sister said about my life.  Right, cleaning, feeding, and trying to do it all while trying to make it fun for my kids. It is easier said than done. I don't tell her but I know she has no idea since she has never stayed home to take care of children either she had my mother or a daycare. I know it's hard but unless you want to lose your friends, you may just have to keep quiet about it and just know inside that they'll get their's when the time comes...

Everyone has an opinion
on how they would do a better job than you.
Rarely do they actually achieve it
Everyone does the best they can in each situation, but you are so right people who arent wearing your shoes should butt on and keep quiet!!!!
