guccie mums

by happy-mumComment Published at 04:3404:344 comments4 comments35 Visits35 VisitsReport

i have a step-son who i pick up and drop off at school each day, in the after noons, me and my five month old daughter stroll to the school and walk home. Well today i thought i would branch out a bit, make some news friends and at my step sons school (very ritzie) i went for it. I approched the yummy mummies that all sit together and gossip (just like high school) and tried to have a chat. They where all dolled up to pick up the kids, inlcuding perfect make up, perfect hair, perfect nails and guccie hand bags, designer shoes etc. I walk over in my jeans, flip flops, daggy shirt and a little bit sweaty from my walk on a hot day... i was given more then the cold shoulder, i was COMPLETELY ignored, not even a hello as i tried to sit with them. It felt like high school all over again! i couldnt believe the nerve of these wemon! just makes me wonder what type of children they are bringing up. Hopefully nothing like them!

Re: guccie mums

you might find that if you approached these women on a one to one basis the outcome would be different, people in groups tend to act out of character at times. like cazza states just say hello and get on with it as lifes too short to worry about other peoples shortcomings.

Dont you worry about them, they sound like they live in  a pretend world, and think they are better... just say hi when you pass them, and if they dont acknowledge u , their loss..

If you want to meet mums through the school, see if the school runs programs that suit your child, as that can help heaps...
