Some of you may wander over to my profile and notice that I'm married so I wanted to explain why I joined.  I was a single parent for the first three and a half years of my son's life before I met and married my husband.  I had the support of my family back then, but not much past that.  I know it would have been nice to have a community of other single parents to help me out, so if I can offer anything to single parents on here, I would be glad to.
