Why? New age parenting is becomming more and more widely accepted. I see things everywhere, Stores, groups, magazines ect and I know many children who are VERY interested in helping to heal mother Earth and learn all they can to preserve the wonderful life mother Earth has created. Who better for us to teach than our children? Who better to leave the care of our great mother with than children who have learnt from a very young age what the REALLY important things in life are?
What are your thoughts?

Hi I'm new to minti I'm trying to learn the ropes here not sure if I'm doing the right thing Do I request to be accepted?
Kinda new at all this net stuff,too  I have 2 beuatifull girls 5 & 3 years,I pretty much dropped everthing once becomming a mom got ingrossed in all things kids would love to talk to other wiccan moms if any one interested?

Good morning mystical maidens and magickal mothers!
I hope everyone is well as this message finds you. I myself, am not so good. I have a wisdom tooth poking through, impacting and making a general nuisance of itself. I've got a few days before I can do anything about it but being so far along in my pregnancy (end of week 25 atm) you can imagine I'm a little apprehensive. Hopefully I'll be able to have a local and just be done with it and it will be safe enough... but you never know, huh? Thankfully it won't be the first extraction I've had done, but it'll be the first while I'm pregnant... hopefully the last as well. Oh, my kingdom for some cloves! 
Anyway, all I ask is that my boy stays safe and that you guys can send some good, safe vibes our way Friday morning (GMT+10 - we're in Australia)... then a few days later I've gotta get the Anti-D injection I'll need for week 26! Oh, joy. Ah well, another thing to keep him safe.
Love to you all and I'll talk to you soon! Hopefully without this gorramned tooth in my head!

would like to know if rose water is ok to use as a 'perfume' for want of a better word for my 14 month old Akasha. no matter how many baths she has, she always smells sweaty and milky for her bottles. She has unusually long hair so that is sweaty all the time too! thought that maybe a fine mist of rose water might help, just like us big girls using Impulse and the like. Any thoughts or comments PLEASE let me know. my baby girl is too beautiful to be so stinky. |

Hello everyone
Thank you for letting me be a member of this group. I havent been on Minti for a while and when i saw this group I thought yep this is for me.I just wanted to share a little story with you and see if any one has anything to suggest.
My middle son woke up the other night and came into our room crying but kinda happy. I asked him what was wrong and he said that he had a dream about a dead body in the water. When he went to see the body it was me and as he went to touch me he saw his brother Reily( who is deceased). Reily smiled and him and said that he wanted to say Hi and that he was watching over all of us. Reily said to send his love to Mummy, Daddy, Jadein, Cooper, Kalani, Grandma and Grandpa. Then cooper hugged him then the body turned into Reily and he had to push Reily down the river.
I told Cooper that it was Reily's special way of saying hello.
Then next morning Cooper remember the dream and his behaviour changed for the better.
Just thought I would share this as I think it is a very moving story.

A friend of mine sent me an article that talks about a great gift idea for Fathers Day. It is called the BugZooka. With it, you'll never have to get within three feet of a spider again. All you have to do is push in the suction thing in the back, put the put of it right in front of the spider, and push the button and the spider will be sucked right on in! Take a look at it here.
