I have just moved to Melbourne with my lovely fiance Erik and our beautiful baby girl Isabelle who is 8 months.  Erik is a 31 yr old computer game designer and I am 30 and currently staying at home with Isabelle.

We are living in the northern suburbs, and were wondering if anyone would like to catch up for a coffee or something.  Isabelle and I dont want to end up sitting at home watching TV all day so we figured we would go online and shop for some new friends :)  any takers?

My name is Kelly and I live in Hoppers Crossing. When I had my son, I was put into contavct with a first time mothers group by my MCHN. However, when I had my daughter, the MCHN doesn't do anything like this for 'second-time-rounders'. I would love to start up a mothers group for people living locally.

how windy is it i turned up at the hospitial and kenny went and got a ticket as you have to pay for car parking and as i sat in the car when kenny came back i said a tree just fell and he said where i said over there it had collasped on three cars and on a person . on the way home we couldnt see it was the worst dust storm and another car had being driving a a gum tree feel on it so had to detour . so many road blocks so many black outs . poor teshia has a black out

how is everyone else coping

Hi there everyone I live in west melbourne hoppers crossing I just joined a new gym here called fenix they have boxing classes on and I can invite a friend to join in every class for free I am going put my son in the childcare just down the road costs like 3 50 per hour and the class runs for 50 mins they have heaps of places too. Just wondering if someone wanted to join me ??

Im not enjoying being a melbourner at the moment.The weather is annoying me soo much,i cant handle it. One day its hot then one day its cold grrr.No wonder people are getting sick all the time.

mercury reached 42 today!!! hottest day on record. who would believe we had so much rain just 11 days ago !!

I live in south east suburbs finally getting some decent rain!!! our water tank will fill again and at  least our gardens and lawns are getting a good soak. we are getting a bit of thunder and lightening as well .I believe south australia had some damage to storms yesterday and we do usually get their weather a day later. Hope we dont get storm damages anywhere.  cheers annie
