Recently I was planning on taking my son in to look at the melbourne aquarium (OK , it was mostly for my benefit, but nevertheless...) We went into the city then got on the free circle tram to take us around to it.
It turned out we were both having so much fun watching and listening to what was going on from the tram that we didn't bother going to the aquarium! The circle track has changed since I'd been on it years ago, now it goes around docklands, and it was a very enjoyable outing for the two of us (also cheap!)
BTW, there were signs in the tram saying that discount admission tot he aquarium (and several other things) were available upon presentation of a valid metcard. I didn't know this, but will keep it in mind for future reference. |
