the story of Sisco

by jesusgirlComment Published at 10:2810:282 comments2 comments12 Visits12 VisitsReport

my son who is in the Army bought him from a pet store in Orlando Fl. when he was 6 wks old, and they were living in Ga.  His first name was Michael and they couldn't get him house broke so they asked me if I would take him.  Well my husband did not want a house dog but gave in and they brought him to me when he was 6 mos old.  I feel in love with him!  He didn't look like a Michael so I renamed him Sisco, which suites him to a T.  He and I have been buddys from the start, I would have to pick him up to put him on the bed untill he was big enough to jumy and even now he has to be picked up at times.  He sleeps in the bend of my knees or right against my back every night.  If I get up to go use the rest room he goes with me and sits with his back to the door until I come out.  No matter where I am in the house he is right with me.  I spend a lot of time on the computer and no matter how long he is either right beside the chair or he is under the desk at my feet.  He runs to the door if he needs out and when he is ready to come in he stands at the door and barks.  He will not allow another animal in our house and when anyone (espicaly when I'm lying down) comes towards me he gets between me and them barking and snapping at them. LoL!!  He is 11 and has lost all his top teeth.  I know he won't have many more years with me but I will spoil him and baby him until then.  I never knew I could fall in love with an animal and love it so much!!!!

Re: the story of Sisco

he sounds like a faithful companion.  Look out prowlers, Sisco might be small, but they don't call his breed ankle biters for nothing! lol.

It sounds like you have had many happy years with your fur baby, let's hope he has a few more years in him yet!
