I love craft....
I machine sewed my wedding dress (size 6) but then got pregnant and had to remove the top half and let it way out in order or it to fit on the day (size 10).  To compensate I last minute hand beaded the skirt but still couldn't gauge how I would be carrying on the and ended up wearing a bluey and a flanno as the top half.
The Pastor had been standing frowning at my husband as he'd had trouble recognising "Who indeed was getting married this fine day" and "this is serious..." caught a look atmy dad dragging me along the beach and cracked up. The guests were shocked at first but then most of them agreed it was fitting and original and "We should have seen it coming from you two.." My Darlin wore a bluey and an battered akubra to keep theme.....
At the end of the day only the two mothers were disappointed.  |
