My name is Clare and i live with my wonderful husband and 4 year old daughter in Sydneys western suburbs,Cambridge Gardens, near Penrith,and i am also nearly 32 weeks pregnant with bub #2,a little boy this time!
I have been doing scrapbooking for about 3 years..on and off..so hardly an expert!*L*
Of course its mainly about our daughter..i think the birth of your babies always gets most women started on the scrapbooking path!
I havent really done much this year though..but hoping to get back into it once our little boy is born(EDD 8/8/07)
It all started off with a few mums from playgroup,then i had a Creative Memories party..and was hooked!
I decided that CM wasnt really my own 'style' so i moved on to doing my own thing and buying all the scrapbooking supplies that appealed to me.
I also then went to quite a few scrapbooking classes that a friend was doing,so i have picked up a few hints and tips that way too.
Once again,not an expert..i kinda just plod along..but im hoping that any album(s)that survive through the generations will be treasured and can help explain how our family is.
Im a traditional scrapbooker..i love being able to touch and feel all the papers,brads,ribbons,bits and bobs..and double sided tape..cant get much better then that!*L*
It would be interesting to try digital one day,but i think im a huge sucker for the 'real' stuff!
Having quite a few photos around the house helps too..and i recently got hold of all(well,most)of my grandmothers old family photos,and family photos as well.
Fingers crossed that someday i'll be able to do something special with those as well!
But,for now,i think i'll just try and do the kids albums..an easy place to start!
