gay parents

Oh, because I can be! That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Reading back through some of the older blogs here.... Who the hell said gays and bi's should be banned from minti? Whoever it was, can I go kick them? Please? I'm bored, need something to amuse myself with.

I'm curious though... where are all the gay men hiding? We don't have many men on here to begin with, so... mhm. Need to do a recruitment drive I reckon!

We are a lesbian couple and it appears the first gay couple to stand up and be counted here on Minti.

Considering the other members of this group are all heterosexual we would be happy to answer any questions that others may have about the gay and lesbian community.

We have a little boy 2 and a half living at home and two adult male children 24 & 29.

One of us is a surrogate mother to a little girl who lives with her two dads.

I was reading in the Q&A about someone having reported a message (that might have supposed to have been private was in public view) about people talking about gay and bi people in the group, and that one of them said Minti should ban bisexuals.

I don't know whether any of you had read the comment and therefore had been offended by it, but I just wanted to say that if there are any non-straight people on Minti (such as yourselves) that you're all welcome here.

Hi everyone hope all is going well anyone can join this group if they wish. You can ask questions leave comment no matter which way you choose yo live your life or let us know how you feel about same sex couples and their families. wether you agree or disagree all comments welcome.. We cannot live in the same world and treat people different no matter what their sexual preference is. Some of us agree they should have same rights as hetrosexual couples some may disagree. Please do not be afraid to have your say!! Hope to see more members soon or even  comments would be great. surely there atre alot here that want to have their input to life heard!! thanks everyone

Hi allmembers and onlookers who may read this. Today on 101.9 fox fm in melbourne on the morning radio station 6am-9am they had a show that was  named today as gay day!!!! It was all about people coming out just like the well known anthony callea did a couple of weeks ago. They were taking calls  from people who wanted to come out to let their family and friends know that they were Gay. The show was great. My friends whom are lesbians with 3 beautifull boys are going great guns with their family. Their youngest is now 3mnths odl he is just sooo cute. Any way hope everyone has a great day and lok forward to more people joining or just giving their opinions on the subject wether they like it or not. Gay people are a part of the human race just like you and me,...!!!!

My friends are going well with their new bub he is just a treasure and a gorgeous boy just as their other two sons are. if anyone thinks/feels negative about it please do not hiold it in have your say anyone is welcome. you may even decide  that this could be a learning experience for all. regards For the day Michelle

Well i am so glad and happy that there are others out there that have the same expressions avbout Gay couples as i do Well my friends are doing well with their new son i will soon add a pic of them with all their boys (3) hope you all keeop an eye out for it . Just waiting to get them all tohgethetr so i can take it.lol lol catch ya all soon

my aunty is and she had four children, twin boys, a girl and then another boy

she is an absolute ball to be around, and now her twin boys are gay, so i'm surrounded by them and i love it lol, i think gay people have a wonderful spirit and deffinately know how to party yeh, so it's kinda fun when we have family gatherings and when i had my third daughter at home my aunty came to watch the birth and she was a great comfort and support, i don't think anyone could have done a better job except my husband ofcourse lol

so i say if you want to be gay and that is who you are, go for it and i think gay couples have just as much right to be parents and i think the government should back off

When I first got the the invite I wondered what made you choose me to invite in as I have not said anything about gay friends or anything
I think this is such a cool invite as my best friend is gay.....He has three kids from a previous relationship and was never truly happy...he would not listen to me when i told him he was gay...he really fought it and in the end it won out and he is now happier with his partner than he ever has been.
He was worried about telling people and in the end decided if they were his friends they would support him.....
He was surprised that he lost only 2 supposed friends and found out 4 of his friends that he grew up with are also gay....2 have come out 2 have not...he is helping support them now.
I have a few other friends that like the same sex and have told my children that should they ever feel that they are gay to come  and tell me as I will support them the whole way.....to help them live a happy normal life.....as long as they are happy is the main thing.....
My best mate and his partner danced at my wedding.  I was proud to have them there.....
