I thought i'd join this group as my daughter who's 5 has dyxpraxia, and was diagnosed since she was 3.
She started school at the end of April, and still gets speech therapy at school. It continued on from Kindy to School, as the speech therapist from the kindy actually started at the school at the beginning of the year, so my daughter had to have a different speech therapist just for a term, then got her old teacher back when she started school.
Her speech is coming along really well, and saying words and sentences alot more clearer now which is totally awesome.
Was reading some of folkartists blog, and her children go to the same school as my children and my 5 year old, and i feel for you that you have to wait so long Jen. Don't want to hurt your feeling or anything, but i think i already have told you this, but my 5 year old got in straight away to speech therapy, and everything else as she's indiginous, and she's come along way since she started.
I think it should be fair for everyone, and it doesn't matter what nationality you are, as it should be one rule for everyone.
