Just wanted to say HI to everyone, thanks for letting me join your group. I lost 16 kgs in the last year on Weight Watchers. Once I got in to the habit of counting points it seemed to flow really well. I actually stopped attending meetings as I really had no time to stay for the meeting part and just paid to weigh in. I stuck to the plan on my own and continued to lose weight, which I was really happy about.

The problem is that about 4 months ago now I hurt my hip at work and now I am on light duties at a desk instead of being in a more active role. I hadn't put any weight back on while I was injured but now I am in that horrible place where it all just seems too hard and chocolate seems soooo EASY!! I don't want to weigh myself but the clothes are starting to tighten up again and I gave all my "fat clothes" to the op shop as there was NO WAY I was going to be big enough to fit them again.

Has anyone else been at this sort of stage???

xxx Cheryl

Hi Cheryl
I have just joined as I am having a down day and thought, hey I wonder if there is a group to get some inspiration from. Not many members which I was shocked at but I'm here to blog away and see what support I can give and what I can get.

Before children 2003 I was my idle weight or there abouts and am finding it very hard to keep the weight off, I lose it I eat I lose it...I haven't done a diet as such I just exercise hard for a few months, eat well then get a downer...balance is the key I guess.

At the moment the issues for me is getting out to exercise - heat, 3yrold and 7mth old (no double pram) so I walk at night when hubby gets home if he isn't too tired to watch 2 grumpies at 6pm at night.

I have lost 1.5kgs in about 3wks so I am not doing the right things and need to get it together. It is amazing how weak we can get if we don't motivate our mind to say just do it...

I would say to myself, stop eating right now (when munching on that chocolate) and get up and go for a walk now.....or today...
If I don't then I just say it again and again and again. Once I get 3 or 4 days in a row of success I feel great and keep it up.
