I know this is probably totally inappropriate, but it just struck me so here goes!

How many of us, loved or hated, Everyone loves Raymond?? I know my family and i enjoyed the episodes very much,  as in most of them we could laugh and cry with the situations portrayed on the screen...we each had a character we could 'feel' for, or understand....i think you all get my meaning, well i hope you do...

It saddens me today to learn of the death of Peter Boyle, the cranky, catankerous father figure Frank.

Love or loathe him we could all in our own way relate with him most of the time....either as thankful d-i-l for not having a father-in-law like him....the list goes on...

He was a brilliant actor throughout his career, and the laughter and the tears he gave to the audience will be sadly missed, especially by this sentimental mummy.
