• I just moved from South Australia to live in North Queensland, Australia
• I'm 31 years old
• I've been a single mother for the past 4 and a half years (and am happy to stay that way for a while yet!!!)
• I have 2 boys; Zakarie who's 13 and Zhiron who's 10 and a daughter, Juelle who's 12
• I worked while I was married (my husband stayed home with the kids) in disability support and child care.  After my divorce, I couldn't work the hours I had been, and then I found out my youngest son has learning difficulties, so I stayed at home and did family day care for a couple of years.
• I have just started a full time course in Community Services Work.
• I love reading, going to the park and river with the kids, sleeping in when I can and am quite enjoying studying at the moment (it's been a while since I feel like I've actually challenged my brain!!)

My name is Eleni, my husband is ben, and this little cutie is Calista our 1 year old. I am a working mother of 1, I work part time and am guilt ridden.  Who would not want to be at home with their child any day!

I have a crazy household which also includes one very randy dog (Fidel) and one extremely lazy fat cat (Boris) and yes they are both named after dictators!

My husbands job takes him away from home for months at a time, which makes us all sad and me a little lonely but you play the cards you are dealt to the best of your ability!

My little Calista brings me so much joy and so much love its hard to imagine life without her!  The house is untidy and crazy (this from someone who used to be a clean freak) but who cares because when your child laughs does anything else really matter.

looking forward to meeting you all and hearing your comments.  I am in the process of putting together my words of wisdom, things I learnt in my first year as a mother (more than I ever learnt at school).

Hello everyone

I am a 31yo mother of 2 children aged 2 and 5 and also my 13yo niece has just come into our care 2 weeks ago. we live in Tasmania Australia where it's cold and wet at the moment ( I hate winter!)

My partner and i were high school sweethearts and have been together for 17 years this September.  We are finally getting married to all our family and friends delight on our anniversay in september. ( we were kind of going to elope in a way by doing it on a tropical island in Queensland with our kids and maybe 3 or 4 other people attending but now it seems everyone wants a holiday and we now have 34 people coming!!

I have been a stay at home mum since my son was born in 2000 and will continue to be until my daughter goes to school full time, and then i have no idea what i want to do.  I previously worked as a assistant nurse in a nursing home and also have had many jobs in the catering field. I do know i'd like to do some courses and find a job i love, but what i really haven't a clue.

I love reading when i find the time and once i find a good book i usually can't put it down, i like puzzles and entering competitions ( and love winning ) i like AFL, i go for the Kangaroos, I love the internet ( what did i ever do without it! ) i like sunshine, sweet flowers, the smell of summer rain on freshly cut grass, My partner the love of my life, my soul mate and the reason for being who i am today and most of all my children, their  laughter, smiles, cuddles and every thing about them  they are my life ( what did i ever do without THEM )

• I played String Bass for my high-school orchestra, though I stopped when I graduated. I would love to pick it up again.
• I taught myself Cello and Violin, but neither one agreed with me.

• I don't mind doing manly jobs like painting, mowing the lawn, and fixing whatever stuff I can.

i am a fittness and health freak, but not so much lately as i'm pregnant

when i was in my teens i use to compete in cycling and bmx races, i also use to play hockey,
