I have found that I keep hitting the browse server a few times then they will let me go to my pictures then you must make it public before it will upload when that is done I make the photo's either private or restricted depending on whether you won't them seen or not it take a few goes to do it and a whole afternoon as well 

hope this helps other than that Minti needs an overhaul  to be more user freindly  ( here am I thinking I know it all) sorry

its tempremental here on minti. no matter what you do it allows you to upload when it decides

i have brought this problem up myself . its ok on fb. here on minti it allows me to and then doesnt no rhyme or reason either!!!! same with the avatar!

Hi, I am new to minti and have tried to upload a photo for my avatar ... i can't do it either!!

Is it possible that your photo is too big?  I suggest trying to resize your photo before uploading it to become your avatar.
