Suggestion Features

This is something I've been thinking about for a little while... There seems to be enough room to add 2 more "top friend" spaces in people's profiles. See example below (whoohoo I have 3 JanicePovey's are you jealous!?)

I'd like to see another entire row added LOL but if this is not possible I think adding 2 more would be sufficient and a reasonable request and not take up any more room

Does anybody else like this idea? What are your thoughts?

just a suggestion for group admins to be able to do a mass mail to its members for announcments etc??

While I think it is great that parents can ask questions annonymously, I am highly frustrated (and most likely not the only one) with the fact that it can be impossible to answer a question properly when not knowing the country of the person asking the question.

There are quite a few questions being asked about legal issues, welfare issues and community facilities.  It is fantastic that people are asking for help, but... not everyone is putting their country into the questions, which makes it hard to give the advice for their country.

Would it be possible to alter the annonymous function so that it reveals the country of the person asking the question? I think that better advice could be given if this were to happen, and then I wouldn't be losing so much of my hair trying to work out where they are from.

It might also help other members wanting to ask similar questions if they see that there are people asking the same from their own country.

Is there any way we can improve the photo upload in Minti?  It sucks the way we have to go about doing it.  And it sucks even more that we can only upload one at a time.  Is there any way to at least have the ability to upload more than on photo at a time.

I'm thinking facebook style.  I like how you can create a photo album and upload multiple photos at once.

A drafts folder in our minti mail!!! How do I start a minti mail and finish it later when I can't save it to a drafts folder?

That is a totally daft thing to overlook in any mail system. I love drafting things!

Can we please have a forward function on our minti mail? Preferably with the ability to not tamper with the mail that is being forwarded so we can forward stuff that Admin needs to know about easily, like abusive mails and spamming and stuff like that?

If the advice that I've already voted on could show green stars on the read advice page the same way that it does on a members page if I've voted on their advice. It would save time when I'm bored and just reading thru random articles.

I have spent to many years on the computer with spell check and find myself sitting there thinking did I really spell that right.... I would really love spell check added one day and I would be one very happy lady....

Advice can be posted anonymous, so can Q&A's, but they're the only things on minti that can be at this stage.

Hypothetical situ - if someone was wanting support and a vent about something personal but didn't want all of minti, friends, family, etc to know about the fact it was them that had the problem, but wanted to reach out past their usual private groups and blog about it, how can they do it anonymously?

At the moment the only way I can think of is to word it as a question, but if they don't actually want to ask a question, just want to write like as if they were phoning a conselling service anonymously and get it off their chest, how could they do it or where could they do it?

Maybe allow blogs in groups, or certain types of groups, the option of choosing to blog anonymously?

Most sites I've been on have a function where members can choose to suspend their account. It essentially makes their account vanish just as if they had been deleted, but they have the option of coming back and re-opening it again in the future.

Surely it would be far better than deleting accounts because someone got upset over something, only to have them re-open another account later on when they got over it.

I'm sick to death of voting off members just because they're upset at something trivial at the time.
