Option to reject compliments...

by llmunchkinComment Published at 01:5101:519 comments9 comments79 Visits79 VisitsReport

Having received a few compliments that I am sure are not sincere, I would like the option to accept or delete them.  So far it seems the only way to get rid of them is to accept them.

Re: Option to reject compliments... OKAY, this has p'ssd me off

I'm sorry, but I want to scream...

HOW PETTY ARE WE GOING TO GET ON THIS SITE???!!!

To want to reject a compliment that someone obviously went out of their way to send, because you don't think it is sincere... what? Are you a mind reader now? If you want to reject someone's compliment, minti mail them and tell them you didn't appreciate and would prefer they didn't send you any more.

Even if they don't like a member, decent people that have some moral standards are usually still willing to put differences aside and give credit where it is due.

What is this world coming to when we can't even try to be nice to someone without getting it thrown back in our face?!

Re: Option to reject compliments...

Well for me.... I send a compliment cos I think that it will bring a smile to someone's face. Nothing false going on... just trying to bring an extra smile to someone's face whether or not i am close friends with them or not. Didn't know that people were using the compliments to be spiteful..... bit childish really.

Ditto, me too... Maybe I am just over reacting, after all, even if meant in jest or without sincerity, I guess we should all snap 'em up. Thanx for the feedback ; )

Re: Option to reject compliments...

I feel there are some I don't deserve, like Super Mum, Yummy Mummy and Good Catch.  The rest, well, I do have glasses and a lot of knowledge for my age, so yeah, will accept wise owl! lol.  I just feel embarrassed with some of them though, because I'm just, well, me!

Re: Option to reject compliments...

It was a shock to me that my Girls sent out compliments and i would hope that they were nice ones...

As for rejecting Compliments,, thats really sad, as for some it may be that they want to make the other person feel good for the day..

It's quite sad really that someone would send a compliment that they didn't mean.
