Ready to conceive

by allylouComment Published at 03:4703:473 comments3 comments91 Visits91 VisitsReport
My husband and I are now ready to conceive our first baby, therefore I want to learn as much as possible. Can anyone share anything that they found most valuable when preparing to conceive?

Ready to Conceive: reply to hey done that

How long have you been trying for?

I tried for 18 months and nothing, I normally get pregnant very easily but didnt after I lost a baby at 24 weeks.  I saw my dr and got on the list at the fertility clinic in Melb, it didnt take long as I was happy to go on the cancellation list.  I got an exploratory  lap done and within 6 weeks was pregnant. There can be a number of things that are preventing pregnancy, a blockage, endometriosis, not ovulating.  You need to see a dr and get some investigations under way.

Ready to conceive

Hi,

The best advice I can say is get onto fertility friend on the net.  You can set up a chart and track your cycles and it will predict your peak days etc.  Its fantastic.  It also helps you get to know your own body.

Good luck
