What stage is your baby up to?

by monyq83Comment Published at 01:4001:4016 comments16 comments69 Visits69 VisitsReport
What stage is your baby up to and how old are they? My 4mth old has just started getting his teeth (but unusually they are the middle top two and his top eye tooth-strange) and he is rolling from front to back (left and right) but is nowhere near crawling but he is almost sitting up. (hes a little bit confused, my little man lol) also he discovered yesterday that he has feet lol but hes not yet putting them in his mouth, he just stares at them as if theyre the most fascinating thing on earth.

6 Months
Lily is 6 months old. We've got 2 bottom teeth, she got them when she was 2 months old, but no more teeth since then! She's crawling all over the place, but she does it really funny, she kinda get's her right leg up under her and walks with one leg and crawls with the other, or she gets up on her feet and pushes her hands forward, if shes not on the carpet. She's pulling herself up on things and she's started to cruise, going from one piece of furniture to another. I don't want her to walk! she's enough to keep up with as it is!
The first time her dad came to meet her she was 6 weeks old and her dad put her to bed on her back, (yeah i know, its supposed to be tummy, but she was a really spit uppy baby and i was petrified of her choking) and I went in and she was on her stomach! I gave her father so much grief until after he left and the same thing happened to me!
Isn't it just insane how quickly they grow up? Already I cant remember when she was a little lump that just lay there wanting to be fed!

my daughter is 9 months old and got her first tooth about 2 weeks ago, the bottom middle and the one next to it is about to come through now. she has just learnt to sit up by herself last week. she has crawled once (just the other day), but she rolls everywhere. when she sees something she wants she rolls and rolls to get to it, it looks sooo cute. she cant (or just wont lol) hold her bottle. shes been sleeping through the night since she was about 1 month teething hasnt affected her sleeping.....well not yet lol. she loves playing and being on her belly. when she was 6 months she was very sick with vomitting and diarhoea for about 3 weeks straight, so i think that delayed her crawling etc. she was trying to crawl before she got sick, but after she was she didnt try to again. i cant wait til she starts walking.

Shilah

Shilah is nearly four months old and amazingly strong!  When she was only a couple of days old i had her resting on my chest and she lifted her head up and supported it herself!  and for about the last six weeks she's been sitting on my knee pulling away from my hands to sit up on her own!  Unfortunately there's only been one case of rolling and nothing since - so fingers crossed.

i think she has been teething for the last fortnight but nothing yet....

Nearly 9 months (13th September 2006)

My little man is 81/2 months, and has been crawling since 7 months, he now crawls so fast you don't know where he has gone  if you turn away for 1 second. He can pull himself up on furniture to stand and walk around. No teeth yet though.. He says da da heaps and occasionaly bub bub and mum mum! He is a really big eater, still has 3 bottles a day and heaps of yummies during the day. He sleeps all night, has since around 3 months, i am ever so grateful (my second daughter did not sleep through until 9 months and it nearly drove me crazy!!!)Feet are also yummy too, he loves he's feet!!

Wow, your "confused lil Man" is certainly getting things going in the right direction.  My daughter took till 6 months to discover her feet and still finds them increasingly facinating.  Top teeth first, that's got to be fun .

We are just getting ours now (can see them not far off and HUGE) after getting bottom a few weeks ago.  Time to re-stock up on the panadol.

My bub still only rolls half way at 8 months.  Maybe your lil guy thinks he's 9 months old already, show him a callendar haha.

Cool
Wow.  We've got the teeth, and been sitting up unnassisted for ages, but the crawling...............Bailee is on the ball, or my Ailish is OFF the ball haha.  We seem to have no intention of moving under our own steam, which considering our house is a baby disaster zone waiting to happen (puting it off until we really have to) I'm not overly worried about it.

Go Bailee Go.

My baby,
Bailee is 8 1/2 months.  She got her two bottom front teeth around 7 months, a week apart, but no signs of anymore so far.  3 weeks ago, she sat up unassisted and started crawling the same day, and just last week, she started pulling herself onto her feet using the couch.  She loves to knaw on things, like my arm, and she's still waking up 3 or 4 times a night.  She's a bit of a fussy eater, and she loves her big sis, Tabitha (3 1/2).
