Parents of multiple

Hi Everyone!

I would like to tell you about the book I compiled when I was going "insane" with 3 small children under 22 months! Yes, that's right, our son wasn't 22 months old, when his twin sisters were born. Michael is now 9, and Shayla and Carissa are now 7.

We'd moved town the year before, so we were a minimum of 700kms away from family, my hubby worked more than 40 minutes drive away, and at the time he was working very long hours....so it was me and the kids....and my ever increasing anxiety.

I formed a multiple birth social group with the help of my local newspaper, and from the group I gained a lot of friends, help and smiles. The stories that the other multiple birth Mums relayed about their "darling" children made me smile, or laugh uncontrollably....so, my kids were "normal" after all, and in comparison to some of the stories, they were quite tame in their activities....

I decided if the stories could help me laugh and lift my spirits, then surely they could help other Mums, so hence my book started. I compiled the funny stories and photos into one fantastic, hilarious book. Then added help organisations for around Australia, so Mums could gain further professional help in need.

 A survivor....yes, you do survive a multiple family...

i am a 19 year old mum of twins boy and girl they was 3 months premature and was in hospital for 2 months and 3 weeks and lots of time after that they were 2 yesterday 22nd of april how time flys i would like ppl who ave had multiple births to share ur exparence with me and me with u thanks bye for now xxx

hello my Name is Debbie I have three boys Twins now 15 years old and a two year old boy ,, its been a hard road with the twins as i had no help no family  and no car and my partner left cause it was too hard for him .. anyway ive done my best always with them as i know how and have lernt alot along the way with them .

i was pregnent with triplets and lost one when in the first 3 months of being pregnent , as sad as it was i dont know how i would of coped alone with three,

Firstly I have to say dont listen to anyone saying HOW WILL YOU COPE WITH 2 ???? You just will cope....Well what choice do you have really. You were prepared to take on one so now its just doubled.... My saviour was breast feeding both at the same time, which was a feat in itself as I had been given a C-section and my hubby was working away and I have a 41/2 yr old so the less movement for me the better so I became a minimiser of time wastage and found I was coping better. The terrible twos turned into trisome threes and the frantic fours and thats me being frantic. My girls can do things unimaginable for their size and age...I guess its like they say two heads are better than one. Well Bulk buying was and still is the way for myself to shop as going shopping with my girls can end up costly from the checkout lollies where they have worn me down after finishing the shopping to the drive through bottle shop for the six pack of gin and tonic so when I shop I SHOP hehe.

To sum it up you adjust to two quickly I believe but I'll post again when they are 5 lol.
