New stay at home mum

by Bee78Comment Published at 03:1503:153 comments3 comments29 Visits29 VisitsReport

Hi All,

I had my 2 month old boy the day after I went on maternity leave and am now a stay at home mum.  I'm hopeing I can afford to stay home with him untill his at least a year old. I love spening time with my sweet boy  but it has been a bit of an adjustment for me not working exspecially since my partner hasn't been too great a help. because I;m home he sometimes says I'm lazy if the house isn't perfectly spotless when he gets home from work. Then when he arrives home I have to run around making him a coffee, cleaning his esky and making sure all is ok for him. Am I really being lazy? Or is it ok to expect him to help out a bit when he gets home and not to be treared like a maid? I'd love some input from all you stay at home parents

Hello all,

I am a stay at home Mum with five boys and a lovely boyfriend, who I've been dating now for two months...

It's great to see so many stay at home Mum's out there...yay!!! I have had someone tell me that I am lazy because I won't go to work and look after my children...what the...??? To start with it got to me, but then when I thought about it I realized that the person that said it had no right to judge me. I am in no way lazy as I am lucky to sit down during the day!!! I don't even sit down to eat my breakfast and lunch most days...only occasionally, mainly on the weekends. Things are too busy around here.  Looking forward to meeting more stay at home Mum's like me who enjoy what they do.

Tanya.

Hi all

I am a new stay at home mum.  I was made redundant after 13 years and am finding this really hard as I have always worked.  I have a 2 year old son at home with me.  I am needing to make some extra cash and wondering if anyone out there in australia has any ideas on making some on the net.  I am not wanting to build my own business just make a small income as some play money.   hope to hear from someone soon

cheers jane

Join the "subculture" of moms being "green moms!" Each day I try to be some shade of green. As a Wellness Lifestyle Coach, I try to teach my children, other moms and those around me how to live in a more natural way and not use harmful toxins to clean their home, change their lifestyle with baby steps to improve not only their life but the planet as well. Through a variety of Wellness components I teach others how to better their lives.

I am passionate about helping other moms like myself learn about how to do something good for their family, their health and the environment. Not only is it important for me to help moms learn about the products they use in their homes each day or what they put on their bodies or in their bodies but to help show moms how they can earn an income being an green mom like me.

So many moms I work with mention feeling overwhelmed by all of the information out there and not knowing where to start and what is right or wrong. That's the best part about working with a group of moms like myself, we work it out together and we know we have a nearly billion dollar global business behind us that we can trust. There couldn't be anything more reassuring then knowing that you're doing the right thing for everyone and that you're making an impact one home at a time, starting with your own. So join me on my mission to help make every family live in a non-toxic home. To learn how you to can make a difference email me at aybwilliamson@comcast.net.

More than a Domestic Engineer!

by pinkygirl6Comment Published at 17:1617:160 comments0 comments18 Visits18 VisitsReport

I have never wanted to work outside the home, even before I had children, but I wanted to make money.  I did go to college in order to work, but I knew I really wanted to be home.  After graduation I worked as a preschool teacher and case manager.  I knew as a woman I didn't have to settle on being just a SAHM (domestic engineer).  I knew I could find a way to make money from home, and after months of searching I finally find something that works for me.  Ladies we can be more than just domestic engineers!  We can do more than cook, clean, and tend to babies. We can do that and more!  So, let's take a stand and be more than domestic engineers!

Okay Perth-ites - we now have a date and time...

by ph419alwaysComment Published at 06:5906:590 comments0 comments6 Visits6 VisitsReport

Hey Guys!

Okay, Libby24 and I have finally set a date and time for this presentation thing. It will be at my house (I'm in Kelmscott), on Thurs 27th March (this Thurs) at 10am. If there is anyone else who is interested in seeing a presentation on the tea-tree products I use, just let me know, as I will need to know numbers beforehand. You will not be required to buy anything - it's information only. I already have a few people coming, and just want to see if anyone else is interested

Calling all Perth-ites

by ph419alwaysComment Published at 05:4305:430 comments0 comments7 Visits7 VisitsReport

Hi Guys!

I am a fellow SAHP, and  I got a few responses asking about the tea-tree products I use around my home (see my blog for more info) and so Libby24 and I are going to host a presentation on the products. We have yet to decide on a date and time, but was wondering how many people here in Perth would be interested in coming to have a look. You can either reply to this blog or Mintimail one of us privately, and let us know if there are any days that you are unavailable.

cheers,

Pia

(this will be our first so please bear with us - we will be VERY nervous)
