Home schooling

I am surprised that this home school group is so small.

I'm a public school teacher with a step daughter in private Seventh Day Adventist Academy (High School) and am all in favor of home schooling.  I have alot of friends that home school children.  I think it's a great thing to do for your kids.  My sister home schooled her kids and they've just turned out to be the most loving and smart kids I've been around.  I think if your up to the challenge great.  Just make sure you socialize your kids with others.  Our school district has three teachers assigned full time to help home schooling parents and I have had several kids come in just for my class and then go home.  We also have kids come just for our field trips.  I'm glad our school district is so open to home schoolers.
