We both worked full-time when we met, but we feel the ideal situation is for one of us to be home with children.  I just thought it would be me! :-)  DH is studying for his family therapist licensure exams and is working from home at the moment.  For various reasons, our daughter is not in preschool, so he has sole care of her during the day.  We do need to find a babysitter, though.

I think life circumstances are always changing and it just happens that this is the best arrangment for us now.  I can see in the future where we might change roles.  But I think the *best* arrangement would be if we'd both work part-time. :-)
