sorry it has been a while peeps, shop has been busy and kids were being kids. how you all been? here is the feature product

Oxfam shops own brand Chermoula Sauce!!

Retails for $8.95 240ml from oxfam shops nation wide.

Feature product for this week is an African garlic sauce called Chermoula. Developed with the cusine of all of Africa in mind. it has spicy flavours of corriander, lemon, garlic and green capsicum. It can be used as a marinade for fish, chicken or lamb or as an addition to guacamole dip. it also works well in moroccan targine recipies... please DOOO try!! i am not much of a capsicum fan but am taking a bottle home tonight to try with some fish, the things i do for Fair Trade... will let you know how it turned out. ::)'s from becca!

do you only want to know about food? we also have some wicked fair trade toys that have worthwhile campains behind them. can do a couple of features of particular co-ops' theres a womans one in africa that make some great stuff.

Sounds awesome! You just reminded me I have to do a write up in here about a lady I met at the field days a few weeks back...she has been to Africa working with tribes there & now sells things they make...I told her about this group & she was really excited!

not sure if all the shops have it yet, but we have a fantastic cookbook instore filled with yummy lookin targine recipies. (was gonna use it as an add on for the targines except they sold out of the targines in our shop over chrissy and warehouse is out... crud!). if you ring your closest oxfam shop i think they could mail the cookbook to you if you have a credit card.
