I feel that the only reason she is winning is nothing to do with the envelopes. She is entering competitions that are not as popular. These magazines have millions of entries. She looks for the ones that need time and effort to win. I won a pink CD once when I entered a small radio competition and they needed 25 words explanations etc. I didn't win the big prize of concert tickets but these smaller competitions give you the bigger chance. If you spend money on collecting labels and sending multiple entries it is the only way to up the chances. By spreading her secret she is already lowering her own chances.

I did read i missed it on tv but i dont know sounds a bit far fetched to me i cant  win on take 5 or thats life and i enter every week.......some people lucky i guess....

my friend has won lots of things.

but she enters lots of times. for example she once bought all this product just to get the labels and send them in

well i just dont get the time but she won five thousand dollars. so i guess in the long run it paysoff.

if she doesnt use the product she will  give it to someone that she knows uses it.

you have to have lots of time on your hands and patience.

i find it hard just entering the extras on tke 5 and thats life.

i didnt even look at the monopoly game , not that i dont mean to but by the time i go to work cook housework and the rest i find im just so tired at the end of the evening.

i just want to "flake it"

but she was right you have to be in it to win it. we all know that

I cannot find the new Take 5 pocket puzzler no: 46 or thats life bonus puzzle book issue 24 any where.  Lets hope our luck changes.  regards

I read the story, but didn't see the TV show...I think something like that has been on before, at least 6 months ago, not sure if it's the same lady or the same T V show, but they had a person from a magazine on also, and they said that they don't pick an envelope because of its large size, colour, or extra pretty things such as stickers, it's just all random...lucky person if you get your name picked out....so I guess this lady is just plain lucky!

I know some people buy 5 copies of each magazine (sometimes more) just to get extra entries in, extra chances, so I'm guessing this lady could also do that. If you ring a competition line once, you may be lucky enough to win, but if you ring that number 20 times, of course your chances of winning are higher....but it still doesn't mean you're going to win, even if you have 200 entries in the competition.

It's been a while since I won anything...but if you're not in it, you won't win at all...so I'll keep entering! (I forgot it was Pocket puzzler last Wednesday so I'll have to get that too tomorrow... woops)

Thank-you veejay and rissa1112 for replying, I have not won a prize for years now, the last thing i won was a Thats Life teddy bear.  As i said i dont pretty up my envelope and may be i should also start.  I don't think becase an envelope it prettyed up it should be picked to win a prize.  i thought it was random in a barrel, drawn out and the placed back in for another chanch to win another prize, thats what they said years ago.

DON'T THE ENVELOPES HAVE TO BE A STANDARED SIZE, OR DO I HAVE IT WRONG?

Yes I watched her on t.v. and read the story in the mag

Maybe that's why I won a puzzle book because the only envelope I had was blue!

hey i read the article in take 5 but i didnt see it on tv but i dont pretty my envelopes -thats prob why i havent won any thing but i might have to start making them stand out
