Ok this is for those of us who crazily decided to combine our already hectic child filled lives with  studies. Whether you're going back to finish high school, going to  tafe/college or uni, this is a little dimension just for us crazy people.

this is a little zone just for us. Come share what you are studying, how you manage it, how you feel...whatever.

Yep six weeks till I finish my course. I swear this semester has been painful, just had really horrid subjects. Anyone up for a bit of Ethical Responsiblities? Yeah I thought NOT!

Call me crazy but I'm looking to apply for mid year intake at QUT to do the degree part time and externally!! I sear I need a kick in the head!

How's anyone else going?

Been Trying To Study

by ArnaComment Published at 20:2920:291 comments1 comments12 Visits12 VisitsReport
Just before my youngest Acacia was born, I started a study program just for women.  I found it really interesting, but once bubs came along, it went down the gurgler.

I am hoping to start Uni in the next couple of years (babies willing!).  I want to study literature, history, Social welfare and criminology.

I have found that studying at night doesn't work, so if you are studying when the kiddies are in bed, and finding you aren't remembering what you have just read, it is normal.  The best time to study is during the day, so if you can get the kiddies looked after for a couple of hours (preferably out of the house) go for it.

If anyone is interested in the course I did which is a Uni prep course and open to all women (gents, sorry, you have to do the full course!) let me know.  It is correspondence and if you don't apply for Austudy (in Australia), can be done over 12 months if you need it.

Happy studying all you game parents!
