I know it's not Tuesday, but I thought I'd share it with you today. I won something worth winning - I won a holiday! It's a South East Asian tour for about 3 weeks, and the tour happens in May. Hopefully I can get leave. But yeah - WOHOO! *victory dance*

I won a free double pass to some movie that looks a little bit weird. But oh well, it's free! It's called The Darjeeling Limited which is about 3 brothers going around India for a spiritual journey and trying to be the brothers that they used to be.

The only problem - I can't find a cinema in Perth that is showing The Darjeeling Limited yet! LOL!

It happened on a tuesday and what a terrific tuesday it was - apart from the scorching weather!

Isn't is amazing how time flies?

I have been trying to buy the house that I am renting and today the owner finally signed the contract. He has been stuffing around a bit. So am one step closer. YAY

Dh & I bought our first house today - after years of talking about it and months arranging it, it all settled today - very exciting! (and scary!)

After work on Friday, a friend and I went shopping in the city. There were boots that were $139 that were reduced to $39! What a bargain!!

Trying to think of some good news here. How about... today's Friday! Wohoo, TGIF!

well  last week i  was getting my car fix . anyway to cut a long story there was extra work to be done which can't afford at the time  and couldn't take the unless its done . well they it for nothing , yes free  and it was a feww hundred dollars worth .

I entered an online radio competition and I won two tickets to see the Wallabies vs Fiji the other day.

Just bragging, but I have long aspired to be a writer, and, while it is not actually an article, you can see me in the new June edition Practical Parenting magazine under "Birth Stories".  How good is that??

I got a free movie ticket from my Red Cross Volunteer Coordinator to see some movie with Eric Bana in it called Romulus and my Father (or something like that). Free is good :D

My best friend and I have been friends for about 25 years (probably more) and she has been so good to me throughout the years - especially during my troubles to have children.  She never complained even though she was convinced she could not get pregnant and would have loved a child.  Today she rang me to say she is 12 weeks pregnant and I am
 sooooooo30. e.xcited 0(sorry Bella editing my text)!  Woo hoo!!

Ok, technically, I will am 28 weeks tomorrow and I'm very thankful to have made it this far being pregnant with twins. At 28 weeks, babies have about 90% chance of survival when born this early so that is definitely something to be thankful about. Yay!

As most already know.....but for those who don't.....

I became a Nanna on the 17th of April. My first Grandchild. I was there for the birth and I have to tell you, it is one of the most amazing things to experience, watching your grandchild enter the world that is.

I've seen friends have babies, sisters and so on...but to when its your grandchild.....totally awesome!!!

Well, that's my news.

Yeah, I know...I'm just looking for places to post this news now....I'm such a PROUD PROUD PROUD PROUD Nanna....

I have been doing the supermarket thing via internet for a while. Yesterday I decided to go for it. So I went early in the morning and my lovely babe (5months) was superb. He was looking at all the food and people then fell asleep in the trolley seat thing. Even when he wok at the checkout he was great. It made the experience fab I didn't have to rush....I might even go so far as to say i enjoyed it!

In addition to this he was great in the afternoon - we had friend and son round for a chat and he was laughing a smiling. I felt happy to be with him and really quite proud. What a good day!

The good news is my step-sister had a healthy baby boy last week.
