I contacted the Food Standard Agency in the UK about text that a member had copied in her article.
The Food Standards Agency has gotten back to me saying that the text on the website is Crown Copyright. (Meaning Government Copyright). It's fine if you quote up to 200 words without seeking permission as long as you quote where you got the text from.
They are happy for us to mention our advice, and to let people know that the advice for the site is for the UK and reflects products available in the UK, UK/EU regulations, etc. |
