Today on playground duty, a groups of Year 3's came up to me and said another child had got angry with them and had used the "C" word
I figured this was quite a serious infringement of bad language in the school so asked them to send the lad over to me.
He came over, looking anxious and I asked him if he had any idea why I had called him over
After a few moments of him telling me how the others had been annoying him, I interrupted and asked if he had used bad language?
He replied that yes he had
So I went further did you use the "C" word?
Again he replied that yes he had.....
I then gave him a talk about using bad language in the playground and how I would have to punish him for using it.
He meekly replied that he knew he was going to be in trouble
then suddenly burst out that he didn't know "crap' was such a bad word !!!!!!!
Trying not to laugh I asked the others if that was the word they had heard and yes it was
So I told him on this occasion I wouldn't punish him but not to use language again
He apologised and went off playing, leaving me fit to burst with laughter !!!!!!

My 9 year old had a session with his support worker this week and I got called in, the SW said my son had told him he had a problem telling me he loved me!!!! I said WOT!!! He tells me all the time!
The SW looked at my son and said "Have I got it wrong??"
My son replied that he did have trouble saying he loved me. He can say the words I love you, but its just so more than that its just too big a love to talk about!!!!!!!

Codi loves a book called "is not my monster"...
The other day he said out of the blue when looking at me... "is not monster, he is dadiiee".
Was funny when he said it.
Thank goodness he does (yet) think i am a monster! ;)

My brother has just got back from visiting our nephew in Iceland. He is 3 years old.
Apparently he likes to play a game where you have to guess what animal he is thinking of.
So my two brothers were taking turns trying to guess the animal and getting nowhere
As my brother was trying to think up the next animal, our nephew ran to him and said "Say Horse" so my brother duly answered "Is it a Horse??"
My nephew replied "NO!"
They never did find out what animal it was as they were both laughing so much

My husband was scratching himself " you know where" when our 2.5 yr old said  "what daddy?" my hubby said that he had an itchy so my son then said,  "Do you want some cream?"   LOL    Too funny!!!

This was a Remembrance (Armistice) Day to remember
We were at church and everyone was stood quietly for the minute silence.
The whole church was completely quiet
I had my toddler son, balanced on my hip as we stood respectfully
Suddenly
His little voice shouted out around the church
"Mummy you're squashing my willy!!!!"

Our oldest was just 5 and at that stage where he couldn't concentrate for long on anything.  Dad had asked him to tidy the toys away in his bedroom before we were due to go out. Some time later dad walked in and found him happily playing.  Dad was annoyed and asked "What have you been doing - I asked you to put your toys away"  a very flustered little boy jumped up and said "I have obviously been doing something - I just can't remember what!"
