c-section

by tooshComment Published at 01:0301:032 comments2 comments22 Visits22 VisitsReport
What a great group Jo! I have had 2 c-sections now and recovered well from both. The first was an emergency after 24 hours of labour (my waters actually broke on the Tuesday afternoon, I got to hospital at 11am on the Wednesday and he was delivered at 8.11 am on Thursday). The second was planned as I cannot deliver naturally - my pelvis is too small (when you have been told all your life that you have child bearing hips this is a big shock! lol). Mine were just under 18 months apart and I had no trouble at all, well apart from an infection in the wound a week after I got home from the 1st one. If anyone wants any advice or has any questions feel free to ask me as I am more than happy to help if I can. I could give you the whole story from my 1st c-section but it would take up the whole page (if only MY doctor had been on duty!)!
