a Toyota townace all 4 wheel drive are great. we are looking into getting one and they aint that $. alo servicing i cheap too.

Personally i would stear clear of mitsibishi and definately Kia as all the ones i have been in (Kia) are all plastic and dodgy. my experience with mitsubishi's are all bad too. once this particular part in the engine goes u are up for $$$$$$$$$$$$ and u can buy a car with them gone and not know. (trust me as we did).

if you want to minti mail me i can give you a few other toyota idea's as they we have found have a longer wearing and forgiving engine. (i have driven my corolla with no oil before and she is still perfect)

I also dont know much about cars, but we recently went on a trip and hired a Kia Carnival. It went ok, but the seats were soooo hard!!!

My Dad drives a Mitsubishi station wagon, i think it is a 97 model and he has had it since 99. He swears by it.

When we get a new car, i want to get a Kluger.

HI Bel,I have a toyota Prado 4wd 8 seater,as we have 4 children we needed a bigger car also.I know it is not what you have mentioned but I thought I would say we have had our car for 2 years and have had no dramas with it.Mine is petrol automatic and I find it has great vision.I had a eb ford wagon before the prado and i find I can see better in the prado then the ford and is so easy to park.I too have heard bad things about kia carnivals.

Anyway thought I would add my 2 cents lol good luck with the car search.

Hey Bel,

I don't know much about cars but I asked my partner who says don't get the huyundai or the kia cause they are crap need lots of service and will fall apart so to speak.  They are not as good as the others.

The Hyundai is better than the kia we knew someone who had a kia and it kept breaking down/ falling apart.

Personally I would recommend the Mazda, they are really good reliable cars.
