You may hate me but i'll say it anyway.
God means nothing to me! Christianity is nothing but a fake and harmful religion. Anybody that is different they kill or mock.
Pagans killed, blackman killed, Indian-american killed.
Being pagan i have felt the full blow of this. "You whorshipped the devil" hummm "NO I DO NOT!" The devil is a christain deitiy not a pagan one, so how can i whorship something i dont believe in???? How about the book "mallues maleficarum" (The witch's hammer) Its basicially, 101 way to name and kill a witch. This is a christian book. What happened to love thy neighbour? Roman catholics are the worst. They start all the killings. Give a man power and they'll abuse it. Thats why you'll never see a female pope. Even to this day pagan are hated by the church. The pagan religion is a loving one. The main wiccan law is "do as you will, but harm ye none" And whats the christian one? Thy shall not judge? BUT ALL CHRISTIANS DO IT!!! If you really do believe in your god, why dont you follow his rules. I hope this has spread some light to others. Blessed Be.

FAKE?????

How can you say that christianity is fake and harmful religion and at the same time say how loving your religion is when you just said that to all of us. what is your undarstanding of the word FAKE.

fake is really the only word in your statement that I really have a problem with. I realize that there are people who have killed in God's name who were very, very wrong. I have no problem with other people celebrating or practising their religions as long as they don't knock mine. Why would you call my religion a fake when I beleive your's to be just as real as mine? My younger sister has been looking into the Wiccan religion for quite some time and I applaude her for it even thoug I am a very devout Christian. I beleive all the things that the so-called christians did in the name of God to the Wiccan people to be utterly wrong. All those innocent people dying because of men trying to do God's work... not right. But for you to call my religion a fake makes me really mad!

Im with Leah on this one - to write off all Christians and Jesus because of some people using Christianity as a cover or excuse to perpetrate atrocities is very unfair - that kind of blanket statement just stirs up hate if you're not careful, so dont go & be like them, eh?

You said that not judging is the main rule of Chritianity? If my memory serves me correct (& at this time of night Im not too sure!) Jesus himself summed up "the Law & the Prophets" (ie the whole belief system) as "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul & mind and love your neighbour as you love yourself".

Hmmm...

Okay i see your point but just wanted to say that you make sweeping generalisations that are quite unfair. I am a Christian. I think saying all Christians judge others might be true but to leave out the rest of human race? You could say everyone is judgemental regardless of faith. I know ppl that aren't Christian judge me and others as much as the ppl who go to my Church do. I am not religous I just believe in Christ. i can only do my best.
Do you know how pagan most churches are? Oh my goodness, they follow tradition,,,,

I know other religion judge, i understand that. But its not other religion's rule not to do so. As i stated below, i have removed my statement on all christians judging.

Why don't u like Christians? Is it the ppl in general or the Church? I am interested.
Pagan means what? I think it is about tradition and most Christian churches are exactly that. I hear that the Church thought up Christmas so the focus be put back on the Church instead of anothe rfestival of last harvest I believe.

Wow

I have not been back to this group for a while, I was raised a christian and in a very strict religious sect, I agree that christians can be judgemental but so can most humans from all walks of life. I have taken interest in paganism and have friends that are pagans, I have taken interest in buddhism and spirituality. I have and my family have dealt with the worst from so called christians but to me they are not what the bible teaches but what their leaders in their chosen church has taught them. I call myself a christian but I prayer to god and to the angels and goddesses, did you know that the devil was once an angel? None of us can do anything about the ignorance and actions of the past we can only move forward and not let it happen again. Light and love to you Selly x

you set a good example of what is balanced. Did you know what at the being of christianity, christians whorshipped both god (christian) and Goddess (pagan) as a unity, as do you. I think you take on a much older view of religion. which is good. You see the bad of past actions and note it and pass it on. thankyou.

I am a Christian and feel very saddened that you feel this way. I could never hate anyone no matter what they believe. I believe that everyone is given a choice to either believe in God or not and if people chose not to believe the only one to judge is God himself. I am sorry if people judge you for your beliefs. They have no right. I do not believe that all Christians judge - as you say - I believe they care about your wellbeing.

I also do not believe that the devil is a Christian although I have no doubt that he believes that God exists!!

I hope that this is of some comfort to you!

I was raised a "non practising Catholic" but am now a "practising Chiristian".

I am not wanting to cause an argument, but to your comment angelmum "I call myself a christian but I prayer to god and to the angels and goddesses" you should know that the bible states clearly that one of the ten commandments is not to have any other Gods but himself and by you praying to angels and goodesses you are breaking that commandment.

No argument, nor any offence taken to your comment, I know who I am and who my god is, I do not put any other god above him, the bible speaks of Angels and I have no problem calling on them when needed. The ten commandments is a guide which no man can possibly follow and if man says he does he is a liar. But isn't our god a forgiving god???

Christian Loophole

Sorry, but that is not correct.

The First commandment states:

Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

meaning you are allowed to believe in other gods as long as you put the christian god first or as equal. And it says nothing about goddesses.

Christian Loophole

Why did Abraham destroy all their statues and say "where are your gods now" It was because you are supposed to believe in one god and worship him only so how could you justify praying to angels or anything else as they do gods bidding don't they? Just curious to know the answer.

Ok, i'll take it back. Most christians judge. Not all.
I didn't mean that the devil is a christian, i meant you'll only find him in the christian beliefs, not the wiccan beliefs.
But what do you think about all the killings that the church has made? Just because of our differences.

What do I think about the killings?? Hmmmmm I think that sometimes people do thing in the name of God that really may not be Gods doing at all!! God often gets blamed for stuff he doesn't do! As I said I believe the only one who can judge is God himself. All people - even Christians - fail sometimes and do wrong sometimes.

Unfortunately no one is perfect as we have been given free will.

No need to get angry. This is a debate blog.

No god didn't do it, just his followers. Your right no one is perfect, we are all far from it. But no wiccan has ever killed on the name of our goddess.

Jesus took all of the people's sins with him when he die, just so the people can make a million more sins.

I cant hate something i do not believe is real. Only what is for sure.
The sun and moon will rise and fall, the tides will come in and go out and that the matter how dark times get, i will always find love in my heart.

I agree with everything that julielf has already written.
I have been hurt by more Christians lately then I thought possible, all of them at one time professed to be my friend and all because I am divorcing an abusive man that they can't see with their own eyes.
However I am agree with the Christians, not with God
I believe he is with me all the way, every minute of the day.
One of the kindest gifts God gave any of us was our own free will. You have used your free will to decide there is no God, I am using my free will to profess there is a God and he is my Lord and personal Saviour.
I have been judged too harshly myself to ever want to judge another human being, so I won't be judging you on your decision that was made using your free will please don't hurt me and others who have the same belief as me by knocking someone we all totally believe in.
