How many other members (besides me when the urge takes over) go to the Needing Votes advice list to read articles that have been rather neglected? There's a lot there, some several weeks and even months old, that only have one or two votes on them.
When you do read advice, where do you most commonly look for it or find it? Appearing on the activity list, your watchlist, keeping an eye on what certain members write, the recent advice list, or something else???
I'm just curious, as there have been a few comments made to me lately about the lack of attention that articles are receiving compared to what they used to get, and I'm wondering if it's because of a change in the way people move around the site and notice things, or if it's because there's so much more advice being brought out to what there used to be that it's over-whelming and too hard to keep up, or if people just aren't as interested in reading it, or is everyone reading it and just not voting and commenting as much???

Re: Question of curiosity.
Did you know you can go to the members list and click on the top of the columns to put them in order of whatever the column is? for eg, date joined, most number of advice written, number of photos, comments, etc. And if you click on it a second time it reverses it so its least advice, comments, whatever. Thats a good way of finding who the prolific advice writers are, who's got the most photos, who signed up first and most recently, etc.
For curiosities sake I've had a look, these are the current stats:
most advice: pfallerj (313)
most comments: cazza (11881)
most photos: mcm (1970)
most friends: rachelcook (7327)
most gifts: electrifying02 (28)
most children:

Re: Question of curiosity.
I find advice..
1. Recent advice (the section on the minti.com homepage) - see if there's anything which interests me since last login.
2. Sometimes needing votes
3. Sometimes I'll just put in a really general search term and have a wander through. Like 'food', 'baby' or 'school'.
4. Sometimes I'll look at the time ordered advice (most recent) but go to like page 35 or something - look at things from months or years ago.
I don't normally go to people's pages and look at their advice in the first instance, but if I read a piece I like I will often go to the author's page and have a look around.
