I Found minti on a rewards site and got points for registering.

that was a coule of months ago. I have long given up on the rewards site but I actually checked out minti and found it enjoyable and I like meeting people that I dont really know, if you know what I mean. I like that I can find info from different perspectives and I like that I can just say how I feel somethimes which I wouldnt normally do in person or face to face.

Also minti is the one of the only places that people are nice to me and give me compliments. The moolah side is appealling in one way but its kind of just a bonus. I would still love minit without moolah.

I only found Minti a month ago, when I heard about it in an email from a paid survey site, telling me I could earn money by joining and participating. Without a job, that sounded enticing. But it quickly became obvious how many much better reasons there are to stay. I love the advice, and even more I love the people and the support. Most other parenting sites are just essays and/or advertising. This is just so much better - real people with their real lives sharing and caring.

I found minti in Take 5 or That's life. I was very pregnant with Amy so i just wrote the name down and put it into my bag and thought that i would look it up later. I came across that bit of paper while cleaning out my bag when Amy was a few weeks old and i wasn't feeling the best. I got on and haven't left.

It is the best parenting site i have ever come across. If i'm having a bad day i know i can get on minti and someone else is here to understand exactly how i am feeling and can talk it through with me or i can be having the best day and have to get on and tell everyone about it.

I can't thank Clay, Rachael, Matt or Izzy for the great work they have put into this site and to all the parents that make it work so well.

I have met some wonderful people on minti and can't wait to meet them in person!!!!

I was surfing the net and found Minti through a competition they were running at the time.  With a toddler and a baby I soon found articles and people I could relate to and somehow got addicted - oops!  At first it was a huge reassurance that other people had the same issues as me and we are not weird or unusual (well kind of), and I learnt new techniques and ideas to make me a better parent, then I started enjoying writing and feeling I could help and encourage people and share what I have learnt.  But I think what brings me back every day is the people - that I have come to call friends even though we've never met.

I had the link to minti thrown at me as I was pretty blue after baby #4.  That was in July 2007.

I have stayed with Minti because I'm addicted! lol.  I can't help myself!  Minti is my connection with other parents, and muchly needed.  I've found that not only do I get a lot of support from others, but I am able to help others that find themselves in similar situations, which helps me too.

For about 18 months now, I have been pretty stable and happy and the only thing that has really kept me that way is minti.  Oh sure, i've got hubby home all the time, but I need to escape from him once in a while too

i found minti coz i was doing freebie sites and i thought i could win a robot vaccum lol this was in november 2006

i thought it was mums with babies and pregnant ppl so i didnt use it...

then the day i found out i was pregnant with tobias i was sitting here all upset and i saw an email for minti in my inbox so i came on here to ask for help and i found it.

thats also why i stay because of the support i receive and because i hope i can help someone like i was helped one day

i actually stumbled across the group "take 5 and thats life " i wanted to email take 5 i didnt realise i was into minti . i became a member thinking i had to for them to receive the email when i realised my mistake i was ready to delete myself

only because i thought it was for mums with new borns but i read some of the blogs realised that i could also offer  help and voila here i am

unfortunately the group that brought me here just recently closed down but  it  has now  been created in  new idea  group  for which im a member

I found minti when i was looking for some advice with kylie bakc in the day when she hasd contact withher motheras she was messing up her head andnd kylie rerdfused to talk to her onthe phone etc.

Sinc well ive just got hooked and neverlooked back i been on minti nearly 2 yesrs now LOL . I love my firends here they all roxck xxxx

I had found out my son ALex was Autistic and a friend told me about this site.

It has been a great almost 2 years on here. made some great friends and got some great advice.

My sister (Juzzy) got me hooked!! just after I had Katelyn and now I'm on everyday!!!

the friends I have made on this site keep me coming back, I think the best time I have had on here was Saturday night 2 weeks ago when we were all chating in drinks anyone it was a good laugh.

this site has made me feel that I can do this parenting thing and if I stuff up or have a bad day thats ok.. tomorrow is a new day.

I can't remember how I found minti but I am glad I did, although I am not as active as I used to be I don't think I could ever leave....  Minti to me means amazing friends and support, I have met the most beautiful life long friends walking away from minti would be walking away from them....  Over the years I have seen so much drama lol but the drama queens always seem to leave and it all returns to normal....  I have tried other parenting sites and nothing compares to this, this community is really very special and it continues all the way to the top with admin. x

As you can see Minti isn't perfect. But it's a place where you truly reap what you sow, so I wish you a lot of positivity.

My Sister just reminded me that it was she who went looking for a Parenting site to prove to me that I was doing o.k as a mother. I had my insecurities about that after my Mothers death, oops.

She told me to look up Minti, where there were real live Parents doing what Parents do and if I had fears or worries, she was sure the community would put me on the right track.

She was a right and wise Sister.

Minti and it's members have done more than they know to bolster my confidence as a Parent.

I suppose Minti has replaced my Mother as confident,LOL.
