A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her.   

When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.   After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. 

 
After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Port Power team, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of  beating anyone.  

My boys did me proud at the showdown against the Crows. It's a game that they had to win. I HATE the Crows with a passion, and they deserve to lose, especially against the Power.

I'm really disappointed this year on how Port Power are going. Not even a chance to make it into the finals.

I'm a little upset also at the fact that i thought that they could've done alot better also. Not a happy supporter here im afraid

I'm really ashamed and disappointed in Port Power's effort if you want to call it that on the weekend.

Did they even show up to the game at all, or were they still in Alberton training? I am also embarrassed at the fact im a supporter of theirs. I'm giving them one more year or even the pre season to shape up, and if they don't perform to my standard, i'm seriously thinking about changing clubs to support, but the teams i refuse to support is Collingwood as they think they own the AFL and i can't stand Eddie MacGuire, Geelong because i can't stand Milburn to what he did to Stephen Silvani a few or so years ago, and especially the Adelaide Crows. I love to hate that team with a passion.

So lets see how they do in pre season.

Well there is a another year over for the AFL,

and the cats have broke the drought, and have taken the Cup home after 44 years...

Congrats to that Club...

Well today is the day where Geelong will either win the droougt, and  bring the trophy home after 40 something years or Port Power will fly their wings and knock the trophy off and have a non Melbourne team take it Home......
