Memorial Wall

This memorial wall is dedicated to those we have loved and lost.

If you would like to post a picture, letter, remembrance note- what ever you like, when ever you like, how ever often you like and about who ever you like......this is YOUR place to remember....use it how ever you need to.

At the moment this group is public, however, if there are those who would prefer for this to be private...so be it. Just post a message here and it will be changed.

If you want to upload a picture that is more than fine, however, so that everyone can benefit from this group - please keep pictures to a medium size.

Thanks

Lavinia

I dont know what to say,how to say it or even where to begin. I love you, adore you, and miss you terribly. you were not my brother by blood, but you were my brother by love.  You were only 27 years old and passed in your sleep. I miss you so much. Its been a little over a mth but i still cant get my head around the fact your gone. I walk up the street and see people that look like you and just as im about to run up and give them a hug and say hello.. i remember it cant be you and my heart breaks all over again. I love you more then words could ever say. I miss you

I lost my brother in law today. He was special, and kind, and loving, and never put himself first. He has 2 beautiful girls, and my darling sister.

I will miss him so much, he had the most generous and selfless heart I have ever seen in a person. He has gone too soon.

Missing him already..

R.I.P. Chris, you will always be remembered for the wonderful person you have been.

This  year has been a really tough year for me. I have lost four family members and a close friend.
My stepfather died in the last week of December 06, my nan died in July, a close friend died in October, my dad died in November and my uncle died on Christmas morning. So this is for them.

If You Could See Me From Heaven

If you could see me from heaven
Would you rejoice
At my successes?
Would you taste my devotion
And remember it fondly?
Would you embrace my grief
And turn it to consolation?
Would you share my darker moments
And bring serenity to my despair?
Alas
The heavens
Ever quiet
And I'll never know
Because in that terrible silence
The only sound
Is that of doubt
Which pushes the possibility away
And reminds me
That one day too
I shall be stardust.

No Matter Where You Are...

by llmunchkinComment Published at 00:2900:290 comments0 comments22 Visits22 VisitsReport
You are always with us Dad, because you made all of us, and even though Jaydee and Sam won't meet you in person, they will always know you through us - and love you, just like Danny, Soph, Josh & Livvy did - PapaSema.

Here is a poem that Stephen's Mum gave to him yesterday, to remind him of what it's all about... I think you always knew this anyway - so here it is for you to share XOX

I may fail to be as clever as my neighbour down the street,
I may fail to be as wealthy as some other men I met,
I may never win the glory, that a lot of men have had,
But I've got to be successful, as a little fellow's dad.

There are certain dreams I cherish which I'd like to see come true,
There are things I'd like to accomplish when my time in life is through,
But the task my heart is on is to guide a little lad,
And to make myself successful as that little fellow's dad.

I may never come to glory I may never gather gold,
Men may list me as the failures when my business life is told,
But if he who follows after should be manly I'll be glad,
For I know I've been successful as that little fellow's dad.

It's the one job that I dream of it's the task I think of most,
If I fail that growing youngster I'd have nothing else to boast,
For though wealth and fame I'd gather my future would be sad,
If I failed to be successful as that little fellow's dad.

Author Unknown.

You were a success for sure - we love you Dad.
