Re: Quiche

I do anything with Quiche,  I get the ready rolled pastry fit it to the quiche dish and blind bake.

I fry up some onion and bacon, zuchinni, pine nuts.  What ever really.

Chop up whaterver you want I usually use sundried tomatoes, olives. Grate some cheese and Parsley

Mix up the egg mix.  Usually 4 - 5 eggs and some milk.  Put the rest of the ingredients in with the egg mix then tip into the pre ready Quiche dish.

* Let the pastry cool a little b4 putting the egg mix in.*  Bake in an over of 180degrees until cooked.

I have no amounts for this receipe as I usually just make it up as I go.

ENJOY

Thats great thanks Angie. But where do you get the ready rolled pastry? Can you get it from Woolies? I will have a look when I am there next!

Re: Quiche

This is very easy to cook and can be changed to suit taste....

QUICHE....

1 onion chopped fine

200grams bacon pieces

3/4 cup grated cheese

1 cup pastry mix

1 1/2 cup milk

3 eggs lightly beaten

pepper & salt

Grease well a quiche dish

mix all together in a mixing bowl, pour into greased dish.

Cook 180` gas or elect. 20-30 minutes....

I have put frozen vegie mix in it, also i have left out bacon. Mushrooms and tomato are nice in it.... the options are really endless...

Good luck and happy cooking....
