A dragon or a unicorn

by ArnaComment Published at 07:4907:495 comments5 comments28 Visits28 VisitsReport

You have found a portal to another world and you go through to check it out.  Upon your arrival, you find yourself faced with a world full of mythical creatures.  You decide to have some fun for a while, but as these creatures don't need to eat, there is no food around for you and you are forced to go home.

As you reach the portal, you are told that you can take a pet with you.  The choice is between 2 orphaned creatures, one being a baby unicorn and the other is a dragons egg.  Which of the 2 would you take, and why?

Me, I would take a dragon.  They could provide me with heating in winter, would be my car and would help with waste disposal, not to mention provide me with quality fertilizer for the garden.  And then there is the fact I dont go for the 'normal' or what is expected.

The baby Unicorn, because he is a little cutie, haha! Maybe because I am a dreamer and there is something mystical & magical about a Unicorn.

With me curled up beside him, he would provide me with winter heat,

I could ride like the breeze and have no need for a car,

Also have quality fertilizer for our garden

HaHa!

If I remember correctly, Dragons weren't very parental with their young, much like most snakes and lizards, so a baby doesn't need to be taught these things.

The unicorn does sound fun, but you have to buy so much for them, a dragon you just hop on its back and off you go!

Food?  Never thought of that.  maybe the reject meat from the butchers? LOL

I'm with you - I'd go the dragon. I like the idea of being able to go flying whenever I felt like it. Could you imagine landing in someone's backyard with one of those things? lol. Oh, and who'd dare to break in with a dragon at your door? Not to mention the personal incinerator! lol

I'm so obsessed with dragons, I use them in a lot of my creative writing! lol. When I get a book published, that will be my trade mark, weaving dragons into my stories! lol.
