Hey Guys!

Okay, Libby24 and I have finally set a date and time for this presentation thing. It will be at my house (I'm in Kelmscott), on Thurs 27th March (this Thurs) at 10am. If there is anyone else who is interested in seeing a presentation on the tea-tree products I use, just let me know, as I will need to know numbers beforehand. You will not be required to buy anything - it's information only. I already have a few people coming, and just want to see if anyone else is interested

   I am new to Minti and live in Perth (Bayswater). I am a mum of 3 (2 teens and a pre schooler)  and life partner to a wonderful man.

I got a few responses asking about the tea-tree products I use around my home (see my blog for more info) and so Libby24 and I are going to host a presentation on the products. We have yet to decide on a date and time, but was wondering how many people here in Perth would be interested in coming to have a look. Not sure yet if this is the most appropriate group for me. I AM from perth, but most of the people here seem to be parents of younger children. Are there any members with teenage or older kids ? Or. . . . does anyone here happen to know if there is some such group on Minti? There seem to be so many groups - some shortcuts might be helpful !

Hi there perth parents. Have a 19month old boy with the flu- a bit scary at the moment but he doesn't have a cough and the fevers settle with paracetamol and ibuprofen so fingers crossed all is well. Am new to this whole computer chat thingy but am slowly getting the hang of things.

Anyway just wanted to say a big hi to all those Perth guys and gals. I'm off to try and get some first anniversary stuff sorted ( it's paper i think...?) I've also got to get mentally ready for starting to work at the kids hosp, not sure i'm ready for the grown up world. Still its only pt time. Still want to majority of time to be with my little person.

I have made this group public now.
It used to be "restricted" which means anyone could read the content but only members could contribute, and to become a member you had to be accepted by the administrator of the group (me).
Now anyone can read the content, and to become a member you just have to click become a member.

Applecross Primary School have their spring fair this Saturday 4th Nov 2pm till late.

There will be Sausage Sizzle, Carnival Rides, Games, Fairies & Wizards, Silent Auction, Plants, Sunset Movie, Show Bags, Train Rides, Live Bands, Deal or No Deal and More.

It will be a great day for young & old

My daughter (3yrs) is booked for 4 year old kindy.  I had been hoping for half days but I've
just been informed it is going to be 2 whole days.

I would be interested to hear from other mums about their children's experiences with
full days at kindy.  At present Felicity goes to 2 x 2 1/2 hour sessions of pre-kindy and she
is very tired afterwards.  When she goes to the afternoon session she says it's boring.
I suspect that she is too tired to enjoy herself.

I've been told that at kindy they have a sleep after lunch, at home she sleeps for 2 hours.I do
want kindy to be a positive experience as it's at the school and I don't want any negativity
towards school.  I'm probably just being over anxious.

I wanted to get my 4 year old boy into a team sport for the first time.

Was thinking t-ball or soccer, does anyone have any recommendations on who to contact to get involved.  Prefer something no more than 20/30 minutes from the city.

Congrats to Dockers!!!

We have been referred to Dr John O'Connor an Orthopaedic Doctor who specialises in children.  He is based at McCourt St in Subiaco.  Has anyone had any dealings with this doctor, if so I would love to hear about it good or bad.

Currently this group is "restricted" which means anyone can read the content but can not comment without requesting membership and being approved by me.

The other option we have is to set it as "private" which means that no one can see the contents or comment. They can see the group in the groups list as "Perth Western Australia" and then request membership.

Please vote: Restricted or Private ??

Note: Restricted will allow more people to see the content and therefore we will receive more membership requests... however... there is no privacy.

I've noticed the other blog about infant swim school and i was wondering if anyone knew where (if any) they ran classes on the weekends for all those full time working parents? any info would be great- i live NOR, but will drive SOR if i have to
