 I bought a pair of snow boots off of e-bay the other day. It was a buy-it-now item and I paid as soon as I bought it. Yesterday I get a message from the seller asking me to agree to cancel the purchase as they listed it, but apparently didn't actually have the item in stock. I was very annoyed, but agreed to cancel - what else could I do? Then, when I went to check my e-bay account later there was a note from e-bay saying that a case of non-payment had been filed against me but was now resolved with a cancellation of sale. Apparently the only way the seller could get their fees paid to e-bay was by filing something through e-bay! I have a flawless buying record and am worried that this will effect me in some negative way in the future. Does anyone know what I can do about it? Or am I being worried over nothing?

Why cant people who pay with paypal via e-cheque do a bank deposit. It has to come out of their bank account anyway if it's an e-cheque.

If they do it straight from there bank account to mine it takes 2 days, an e-cheque usually takes over a week to clear.

So I just had about 8 items sold and about 5 of those paid with paypal instantly, one made a bank deposit and one made a paypal e-cheque payment. So I have to wait around for a week to transfer the balance to my bank account. In the meantime I have to find the postage money from my everyday living funds so that the other buyers will get their stuff in a fair and reasonable time.

When will people realise that postage money gets tied up in Paypal accounts and small everyday people who sell (which i where a lot of the bargains are) have to wait to get the money out of the paypal account which is hard when not everybody pays on time!

Some people even send a message saying ''I have just made an instant payment please send my item immediately!'' Well it's not always that simple when your just an everday person getting rid of unwanted items!

I bought a second hand digital camera on the 29 sept, paid for it the next day. I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. I bought it cos my old digital camera is such a dinosaur now and it's stopped working on and off. I want to take photos so I can get some auctions going. I've managed to get a few photos. It's really hit and miss with tthe old camera.

In the time I've waited for this new  bloody camera to arrive My old one has started working agian. Some people are so slack with sending stuff. a month is really pushing it.

This doesnt happen to me very often. I always send my stuff within 2 days of payment and if something happends I send a message.
